1 STAR — Extremely Disappointing StayThis was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The cleanliness and condition of the property were unacceptable.When we brought our concerns to the hotel, the employee admitted that our room had not been fully cleaned because they were understaffed. Staffing issues may explain the situation, but they do not excuse charging guests for a room that wasn’t properly cleaned.We have 20 photos documenting the filth, garbage, and condition of the room and common areas. There was dirt, grime, debris, and trash throughout the property. Some common-area garbage still had receipts showing dates more than three days old, which was extremely concerning.The pool was also unavailable during our stay, despite being an advertised amenity. Even more concerning, we found black chunks/debris in the bottom of melted ice, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness of the ice equipment.We weren’t expecting perfection—we expected a clean room, maintained common areas, and functioning amenities. Instead, we spent our stay dealing with conditions that should have been addressed before guests arrived.We documented everything with photographs and brought the issues to the hotel’s attention. Unfortunately, the overall experience was completely unacceptable.We cannot recommend this hotel. Management needs to seriously address housekeeping, sanitation, maintenance, and staffing issues.
