Very Nice Accommodations

The house was very clean, and there is a lot of space to spread out. I loved the porch, and the beds were very comfortable.

Ants in the kitchen, no tissues, no reading lights anywhere, the washcloths and hand towels were stained. Porch sealed in plastic and no ac made it unbearable.Large black lizards like to hang out on the front steps. Being watched by external cameras, Wasn't what we had hoped for.

Wedding weekend

Perfect stay for a quick weekend for a wedding we were in town for . House is beautiful and clean . Very quiet neighborhood, we loved that .

Very nice clean property. Great 3 season screened in porch area! Beautiful patio area! Awesome for sunsets and stargazing.

Relaxing Retreat

Nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia, this beautiful home offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests are greeted by a picturesque countryside setting and a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. If you're looking to visit the area west of Richmond Steel Magnolias provides a wonderful location to unwind. Jenny was outstanding in communication to make sure we had what we needed!

The location to start was absolutely amazing, quite little area with friendly neighbors, my children quickly made friends. The house was beautiful, very cozy, even my children was in love with the house, its was very clean with everything we needed. Not to mention the host is the best. We had a 14 hour drive to arrive and she checked in during our drive to make sure we was safe and time of arrival so she could have everything ready for us, she even checked in to make sure we made it home safely! We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights most definitely wished we had more time! The house is very roomy which myself and the kids loved, we enjoyed family time in the frontroom, family game night on the screened in back patio, which was the boys hang out during the day when they wanted boy time. 10/10 recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Hi there! After living in Amelia most of my childhood life, I moved away for a short time before returning to raise my two children here. We spend a lot of time in the nearby areas around going on walks, visiting the lakes, beach, mountains, visiting the local breweries, vineyards and distilleries- all the things we recommend to our guests to do. We not only own the spaces that we rent out to our amazing guests but we spend time in those spaces as a family.

This property is located conveniently to necessary amenities within a short drive but outside of the hustle bustle.
There is also only one hotel in our great community of Amelia and we wanted to create a space that felt better than a hotel for our community and out of town visitors.
