We had a wonderful weekend at Dug’s place. Beds were tidy, decor was a little dated compared to photos. We had everything we needed when we arrived. Perfect house for 5 adults to spend a lovely time in Stowe!

Dug’s house was perfect for our family! The house was just as described and host was gracious enough to leave out snow laws for my grandson because she saw up playing in the snow! Perfect distance from Stowe Mtn, easy drive! We are looking forward to returning again next year!

Positives: The property is beautifully situated on a mountain with great view!The house is well appointed for several guests.Cons: 2 big things that made a difference for us and why we wouldn’t rent this property again… we were not aware that a tenant is living above the garage until we arrived. It ended up being fine. We never saw the person, but more transparency would have been appreciated especially because we were two women traveling alone with our children. Second con was the house was not clean. This is probably more constructive criticism for the property management company than the homeowner. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine and the dishes in the cupboards were very dirty along with the microwave. We didn’t feel like we could cook or use any dishes without washing them first.

A truly beautiful home in picturesque Stowe. The house was just as advertised, clean, and was a wonderful vacation spot for the family. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in Stowe

Had a wonderful stay with some friends for a 30th birthday. Cozy and welcoming. Quick drive into town and good access to Stowe for skiing.

Long weekend getaway

We had a great time at Dug’s. Two families of four with small children. House had so much room for us all. Outdoor space was great. Snowed while we were there. We’ll definitely be back.

Christmas at Dug’s

The house was perfect for us. We loved the rustic charm and the views it offered as it sits high on a mountain road. Kitchen was well equipped and lots of extra towels in bathrooms. The only thing I wish was different was that there was a real wood burning fireplace instead of electric.

Fun Family Weekend

We stayed at Dug’s House last weekend and had such a wonderful stay. We met family. The house was perfect. It was much larger than anticipated and plenty of space. It was very clean and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the view! We could see so far away! It was a perfect Fall weekend. We also enjoyed the fire pit one evening and could see endless stars. Would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Ideal Stowe location

The house was a perfect location for our Stowe ski trip. The location allows you to bypass the village to get to the mountain. However the village is about a five minute drive.The house was perfect size for my family and plenty of room for everyone. We loved looking at the mountain from the house. A four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended if there is any snow.vehicle is a must for winter if there is any

Fall Weekend at Dugs

The property was clean and well suited to a full family trip with two families plus Grandma. The kitchen and dining area made for pleasant gathering space for cooking/eating, and the porch has an amazing view perfect for soaking in the Mt Mansfield Ridgeline or the star while the kids played in the yard. My one minor issue was that the mattresses weren't the most modern. Felt like for the price we're paid the property should at least upgrade from spring coil to memory foam.
