The Space:

Sleeping arrangements

8 bedrooms (which can sleep 18): Our heritage hotel offers a memorable mix of unique suites and rooms, blending authentic old-world charm with modern comforts. Discover original wood floors and classic features alongside beautifully renovated spaces. Families will love the dedicated bunk bed room, while the suite layout provides ample room for large groups to spread out and enjoy a cozy retreat.

6.5 bathrooms: Our bathrooms offer the perfect blend of new and old, providing families with all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing stay. With two bathtubs available, bath time for the kids is a breeze, leaving parents with one less thing to worry about.

Kitchenettes: For added flexibility and privacy, three of our unique suites feature a convenient kitchenette. This allows families or multiple parties to prepare snacks and light meals at their leisure, giving everyone the freedom to relax and dine on their own schedule while still enjoying all the amenities of the main hotel.

Elegant and social living

Grand front sitting rooms: Cozy up by the fireplace for an intimate chat, or gather with the whole group to watch a movie on one of the large-screen TVs.

Expansive dining room: With plenty of seating for large events, this space sets the scene for memorable family dinners and celebrations.

Farm house kitchen: The newly renovated, farm style kitchen is perfect for a large home cooked meal; just send someone down the street to the peer to grab a bucket of lobster (maybe scallops) off the boat and enjoy a memorable PEI feast.

Outdoor dining: Or if you'd rather be outside and barbecue, you can take advantage of the amazing outdoor space replete with bbq, lobster boiler and seating for your family and friends with a view of the lovely gardens and Westmorland River just across the street.

Fabulous outdoor areas: Enjoy the large open front deck to sit and people watch as the tourists explore the village or utilize the back screened pergola and hot tub with privacy and serenity. The large property is great for kids and pets too!

Other amenities

Fire pit: Settle in for a magical night by the fire. The crackling wood is on us, leaving you free to share tales, roast marshmallows, and make lasting memories with your favorite people around our inviting fire pit.

Large screened in pergola: Enjoy the beauty of Victoria, smell the salt air from the ocean and take in the view of the West River, an incredible tidal river rising and falling throughout the day.



Guest Access:

The OH Hotel has ample parking and is walking distance to everything in Victoria. Guests are provided with a code to unlock the hotel front door and their respective rooms. An OH team member will be available to provide assistance if needed.



The Neighborhood:

Set in the heart of historic Victoria-by-the-Sea, a quaint but still very active fishing village (which Forbes recently rated the 23rd most beautiful village in the world) the hotel is walking distance to some of the best restaurants on the island, Landmark Cafe, Richards Seafood, Casa Mia and perennial Lobster Roll of the Year winner, Lobster Barn. The town also features the Victoria Playhouse, Island Chocolates and many unique artisans and gift shops. For adventurers and youngsters there are many activities such as kayak rentals, and boat tours and for those who want to relax there's a small warm water beach to explore or you can watch the lobster boats unload their catch each afternoon during lobster season.



Getting Around:

Victoria is centrally located on the island - just over 30 minutes to Charlottetown (East), Summerside (West) and Cavendish (North). It is also only 15 minutes to the Confederation bridge for those guests traveling to the island by car or those hoping to visit Halifax, Moncton or other nearby destinations.



Other Things to Note:

If you arrive late to PEI you may find that not many stores are open so you may want to consider planning ahead. We can provide care packages or full grocery services if you would like to make your first night a little easier.

Also, for those guests considering testing out the waters in Victoria, you should know that the Northumberland Straight has the warmest waters north of the Carolinas - so bring your bathing suits.
