The Honeybee Cabin is family-owned & operated. Adirondack Mountains’ favorite buzz-worthy retreat. Only at THC, will you get the best of both worlds. At the property, enjoy an expansive house on 2 PRIVATE, partially-wooded acres with 250-feet of direct access to Sacandaga River. When you are ready for the excitement of the Great Sacandaga Lake, 7-10 minutes away, you’ll find the public boat launch with sandy beach and the village of Northville for dining, shopping, and the idyllic small-town experience.

What sets The Honeybee Cabin Game Room apart is its unique feature – on sunny or rainy days, the garage doors can be opened to reveal breathtaking views of the Sacandaga River, creating a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor recreation. Worried about bugs? Fear not! We've got you covered with mosquito nets to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Everywhere you look, you’ll find beautifully crafted natural wood accents. The house features incredibly spacious large bedrooms and oversized walk-in closets. Step into the kitchen, where vaulted ceilings and expansive windows fill the space with natural light creating a warm and sunny sanctuary. Your chef’s heart will delight in high-end appliances, a fully and truly stocked kitchen, and butcher’s block island countertops, adding a dash of panache to your culinary adventures. Off to the side, you’ll discover the whimsical charm of the butler’s pantry equipped with a sink.

After a long day, take a long bubble bath in the oversized clawfoot bathtub, or slip on a bathing suit and head out to the hot tub overlooking the river. The 6-person hot tub is perfectly situated near the house on a gently sloping bank overlooking the river. Whether you're unwinding after a day of exploring or stargazing in ultimate comfort, the hot tub offers the perfect escape for all seasons.

Our commitment to modern amenities ensures your stay is both comfortable and convenient. Benefit from high-speed fiber to premises WIFI, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout your visit. All upstairs bedrooms feature a 40" 1080p Smart TV, while in the living room, you'll find a 75" 4k television experience.

In the event of a power outage, a full house generator is connected to minimize any disruptions to your leisure.

In the Sports & Rec themed bedroom, you'll find a massive king-sized bed plus a twin-bed with twin-trundle. In the Woodland Creatures bedroom, there is another king-size bed. Finally, in the S'mores & Campfire bedroom, there is a large office space as well as two twin-sized bunkbeds.

The living room couch pulls out to a queen bed and there is a twin bed located in the lower level.

The driveway has ample space for 4-6 vehicles, including a boat trailer, ensuring your watercraft is well accommodated for.

A stone's throw from the house, escape to oversized firepit along the riverbank. Relax into nature as the sounds of a crackling fire, chirping of crickets, and the trickling river lull you into peaceful solitude.

The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor activities, offering a diverse range of experiences throughout the seasons. For those who love exploring the great outdoors, hiking, biking, and swimming are just a few of the adventures awaiting you. Experience the thrill of river tubing and kayaking (provided), or embrace the winter wonderland with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the colder months. Fishing enthusiasts will delight in catching walleye, rainbow & river trout, and brown trout, the latter is stocked annually. If you are feeling adventurous, grab your water shoes and explore the secluded island at the river's bend. Please note that the weather and river levels vary, which may impact the availability of activities during your stay.

Guests with younger children will find The Honeybee Cabin to be an ideal family vacation destination. We provide a Pack 'n Play with linens, eating utensils, high chair, toys and games, a baby gate, and a baby monitor to ensure your little ones are well catered to. There is also a playground less than a quarter-mile away, perfect for some extra fun and excitement.

We are thrilled to announce that The Honeybee Cabin is not only pet-friendly but pet-enthusiastic! Your four-legged companions will enjoy a custom-made Adirondack doggie bed and food/water dishes, plus a fully fenced-in play area. We keep extra treats and doggy bags supplied in the front entryway, for your convenience. If your well mannered fur-babies are seeking accommodations, please message us prior to booking for a full list of rules and regulations. All pets must be preregistered.
