This place was warm and welcoming! It had everything we needed It was peaceful and quiet, in the woods, but not to far from some of my favorite places. We would stay love to stay again!!!

Laurie was very quick to answer all my questions before check-in. The house is pretty deep in the woods in the middle of a national forest, so lots of trees and critters around. We saw deer, turkeys, grouse, and those funky Michigan black squirrels. There were a few neighboring properties nearby, so it wasn’t totally isolated. Be prepared for spotty cell service. It’s a good idea to jot down the entry code and instructions before arriving. Ask Laurie about the coffee maker instructions ahead of time. It’s a commercial unit, and I was stumped for a good while. The cabin is decorated in a cabin-y, fish-y, outdoorsy style. It’s very spacious, with plenty of room for 3 couples, if needed. The tap water is very rusty tasting, so we were thankful the host left a jug of good-tasting water in the fridge. Located in a beautiful area, with a short drive to where we were fishing. We spent our days outdoors and fell asleep in the chairs watching sports in the evenings. The house was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds. I would stay again if I come back to the area.

Great relaxing cottage!

The place is clean and cozy! We had a very relaxing stay. I didn’t have any cell service but that may have been a good thing! Will stay here again.

Very cute and cozy

The property is as advertised and very spacious. Could easily fit a large family and the yard is huge to. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay.

Hidden Gem

So glad to have found this hidden gem. It was close to our own cabin that we are working on and the perfect way for all of us to get the work done and still spend time with the family that came to help. We will definitely book again if needed.

Cozy place with nature all around

Loved our stay at this cozy place in the middle of the woods - check-in was easy, even at the late time of night we arrived. No internet, but that was a good thing, as it kept everyone off their phones. Kitchen was stocked with all basics needed to cook and the yard was a nice surprise with the peaceful firepit area and beautiful landscaping.

Great get away in the woods

We had a great time. The place was clean and the owners are super friendly and responsive. The only thing that was tough was no wifi or cell service. There were lots of animals to see. We had fun

Thank you for the review Janeen. Yes a person can definitely disconnected there. Cell service can be spotty depending on how many people are in the area. The best locations at the cabin are on the cement patio and at the dinning table. It was a pleasure hosting you and would enjoy hosting you again. Laurie

Comfortable hunt.

If you like the outdoors, this place is for you. It is near the Huron National Forest the Au Sable river and the town of Glennie. The cabin is very comfortable withe all the conviences of home excluding wifi. It is in a quiet and uncrowded small neighborhood. Nice place to be!

Pleasant

We had a very good time staying at the cottage hidden in the middle of the Forrest. The place is very nice ,quiet, clean, large and supplied with all necessary every day household goods and appliances . You got a free relaxation starts in the morning a soon as you open the window to hear all types of bird singing, chipmunks and squirrels running and other small forest creatures. The place is close to trails for walking or four-wheeler activities.

Everything was clean. All supplies were available if needed. furniture is a little worn ,beds were comfortable. Did not spend much time there. The rest of the family was at another Vrbo.
