The first two nights it felt like something was crawling around under the mattress pad in the bed underneath me.They admitted they had had a problem with rats and mice.It smelled like milder and there was some present.They were prompt to address the issue.The fishing poles provided didn't work properly.The people were nice.

Cousin reunion

Great location if you just want to lay back and relax. We were entertained by eagles and other birds, a long with otters. We visited with family and had a great trip.

Peaceful and Quiet

We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful location! The rooms/beds set up worked perfectly for us! Everything was spotless! Alanna was very accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!

Family reunion

We needed a place near Lawrenceburg as we attended a family reunion. This was great. Large deck facing the lake and plenty of ways to enjoy it!

Awesome place

Thiis property is beautiful. Has a big back porch facing a lake to relax on. Hubby enjoyed fishing, daughter enjoyed canoeing and MIL and myself enjoyed the porch. It's so peaceful and we needed that since we were there for our sons wedding. I cant say enough good things.

"Little Piece of Heaven"

The online pictures do not capture the essence and beauty of this property. My husband and I needed a couple's getaway. We love the outdoors, and with the lakefront, we actually did not need to go anywhere else. The Hosts of the property provide EVERYTHING needed to enjoy the lake...canoes, kayaks, life jackets of every size, fishing gear, including poles, a boat with a trolling motor, and all types of outdoor games and activities just waiting to be set up (Bad mitten, corn hole set, brand new kites for kiddos (very kid friendly; even a seat high chair). I could continue with other examples. We have fallen in love with this place, and are already planning future stays, here; alone or with our kids and grandkids (:Grateful and Blessed,Leanne and Richard Willis

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing anniversary weekend. We got it. We fished, listened to the frogs and cows and just enjoyed our view of the lake. We took the boat around the lake which was lovely and enjoyed a nice conversation with the owner when he was riding by to check on his cows. The owners dogs came down to be sociable a couple of times so we enjoyed petting the sweet Lab. The peace and quiet was nice. Everything you needed to go fishing was there. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Thank you. We ate ate local restaurant 1819 for supper and Four Square for breakfast which were just a short ride away.
