The cottage is well located on the Cabot Trail near trails such as the Middle Head Trail and beautiful beaches such as the Ingonish Beach. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one.

Absolutely wonderful experience spending the weekend in this adorable little cottage. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed. Adam is a fantastic host and was very friendly and responsive. We loved the rugged beach only a 5 minute walk away and we found delicious wild raspberries growing along a trail. We could even hear the sound of the ocean waves from our cabin. We loved it so much we may make it an annual getaway! Highly recommend!

Very nice and cozy stay! Host was easy to talk to and provided us with alot of recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The location was also very central to all hiking trails

Great Cape Breton getaway

Cozy cottage - well appointed. Perfect winter spot, 20 minutes from Cape Smokey. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful location, especially in the winter.

Quiet Get-Away

Came back from hiking each day to a great base from day trips out to the beauty of Cape Breton! Splendid! Comfy little spot!

We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy.

Bliss!

Things are meticulously planned out and well appointed. Adorable tiny house get-away! It allows us to eat simple meals and get out on the trails and beaches. Come back to read a book on your own personal deck or grill a feast. Quiet sleeping, away from the main hubbub, but scenic easy-peasy drives. The Island is stunning! The owners are absolutely lovely and helpful!

Great Location for Exploring Cabot Trail

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. Location was a great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. Lovely property with access to hiking trails right on site and just a short walk to the ocean. The only issue I would note is that the floor is two different heights between the kitchen and living/bedroom area. This is a bit hazardous and we had to be careful until we got used to it. Both my husband and I either tripped or stubbed our toes.I would suggest doing something to make the transition in heights more smooth.

Secluded, but everywhere you drove the scenery more than made up for the excursion.Trails close by, even one by the ocean. Cabin was small but space was utilized well. Had a kitchenette with cooking and eating utensils, pans,We spent time talking with their son, chasing down his dog, we enjoyed our conversation. So quietVery cleanIf I am fortunate enough to revisit Cape Breton I will book here.

The property is beautiful and the cottage was adorable. The hosts were very effective communicators and even gifted us farm fresh eggs for our breakfast!
