Beautiful home and property!

Our group had a great time at this beautiful spot. It’s very peaceful and quiet tucked into a jungle oasis with wildlife and roaring creek sounds in abundance (and an adorable donkey in the background too!). Continently located 10 minutes to town for anything we needed. Host was great at communicating and providing recommendations. We did lose power the first night (along with 90% of the island) but thankfully the property has a generator that powers almost everything at the place, and the host was prompt to keep it going with fuel and checking on us frequently. Would stay again!

Lux, Exclusive, Private, Family Fun

Jonathan & Angelica,Thank you for hosting us and being so attentive, helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay. This home over delivers in every way, it has a much grander feel when you enter and although the pictures are accurate, they don't do it justice. My family and I enjoyed every minute of this little piece of heaven, the property grounds are really wonderful and full of nature and iguana visits. The pool and covered porch were the spots to be for family fun day or night. The kitchen it's well equipped with anything you could need. The rooms are large and well accommodating, all the bathrooms great. One of the best features is the added piece of mind that the home is equipped with a huge power generator and well on the property for those times when power outages occur. My little sister got engaged in this home, we'll never forget this trip and hope to stay here again. We really appreciate being able to experience staying here.Thanks again and until next time.

Our stay at El Sonido del Rio was very memorable for our family. Arrival was simple enough with the gps (we used Apple Maps) and as you get closer to the house there are signs to point you in the right direction of the home. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained! Instructions to get in were clear and easy to understand. Jonathan and Angelica were very attentive and hospitable from the moment we arrived. They made sure every detail was just right, from the snacks at the front door to the drinks in the fridge, and spotless bedrooms and bathrooms. Jonathan came by the house a couple of times while we were there to ensure everything was going perfectly during our stay. He was very friendly and even cut down some coconuts from the palm trees for us to drink and eat. We were less than 30 minutes from Crash Boat Beach, and minutes away from many other beaches near the home. We took the most advantage of the beautiful pool onsite. We thought the lack of washer/ drier onsite would be an issue, but Laundry 115 was 7 minutes away and very affordable for drop off service. My only recommendation would be a new stove as the oven didn’t quite work while we were there. It kept tripping the outlet during preheating. But overall, all went great and we will definitely return in the future.

We’re very sorry to hear about the issue with the oven. We only wish we had known during your stay so we could have helped troubleshoot it right away. Unfortunately, Puerto Rico’s power grid is quite antiquated and unreliable at times, and our area occasionally experiences low-voltage fluctuations. Because of this, we keep certain appliances connected to surge protectors to help prevent damage. In this case, the surge protector may have affected the oven’s performance. For any future stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out during your visit and we’ll gladly assist immediately. We truly appreciate your understanding and are sorry again for the inconvenience. We’d love to host you and your family again someday!

This house was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The place had plenty of space for our family. A bunch of things to do at the house you can stay there all day. The area was nice and quiet so peaceful. Plenty of bathrooms for our big family which was a big plus for us. Overall a great experience with the hosts and the house would definitely come back here!

An absolutely perfect stay! The hosts were always available to answer questions. The house was stunning, clean & well-organized, and included everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The numerous bathrooms and outdoor showers made returning to the rental from the beach with 3 high-spirited children a breeze! The mountain drives offered fabulous views. A nice bakery near by gave us a simple breakfast option each day. The pool was a perfect playground each day and eating dinners on the large patio was enjoyable too! I highly recommend this rental.
