We enjoyed our stay here so much. Great location and the amenities provided we're above and beyond any other place that I have stayed at. We even had freshly baked cookies with a handwritten note from the hosts.

We visited Bloomington for a celebratory family event weekend, and couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The house was conveniently located, very clean, and had everything we needed provided. The owners responded to questions and requests almost immediately. Price was good, and the value for dollar was good. Wil definitely consider for a future stay!

What a lovely bungalow so close to the IU campus and downtown Bloomington. Yes, you can walk to Kirkwood! All the amenities we needed, extras we didn’t think we did but very much appreciated and a very friendly host. Everything you want in a great stay.

The property has ample parking if you have more than one vehicle. We stayed at the house for an IU football game and found it most helpful to have tailgating supplies available for our use. The six chairs were a big win for us since we were traveling from Northwest Indiana with our vehicle fully loaded with supplies. Cute Hoosier decor and comfortable space for the six people in our group. We did not use the outdoor space because it was a hot weekend in Bloomington, but having the space in the yard with the fire pit would be fun for anyone coming to a game in the fall. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful and helpful hosts made for an ever better experience. :)

Great spot for a sports weekend

This home was exactly what we needed. I was close to campus , close to town. It was clean and fresh. All the extras were perfect ( toothpaste, feminine products, k cups, soap, shampoo. Washer and dryer were a plus . The beds were comfy and the extra plugs in the room for phone chargers were a nice touch. The board games were a hit with my kids! We definitely will stay here again. It’s a gem !

So clean and cute! Communication with the host was wonderful and the house was supplied with everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing the games provided in the living room. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor area. We will definitely be back again!

This was the sweetest bungalow! It was immaculately clean, comfortable and well-stocked with everything from shampoo to games to coffee. It felt like a home away from home and was an extremely comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

I live right here in Bloomington and grew up here. I host because I too travel and use VRBO and decided I wanted to take the best of what I have experienced and provide it here. I am a cyclist and I collect and race vintage cars. I enjoy being outdoors.

This location is within a 5 minute walking distance to the best, largest, and newest, city parks. (Google Bryan or Switchyard parks). It is also a five minute walk to the new B-Line trail; a multi-use trail that connects us to downtown and Switchyard park. Along the trail is a distillery, numerous coffee shops, and a grocery store.

The location between the parks, the ease of parking, and the Hoosier/Bloomington theme with it's ample living room, thoughtful touches, makes this house stand out from the rest. We have taken the best of what we want in vacation homes and have thoughtfully added it to our bungalow. Ease of parking, and walking distance to restaurants and parks, make this location perfect for families. The Hoosier Bungalow is also only used as a rental and not someone's home, so you can make it yours for the duration of your stay.
