This private two-room suite has its own separate entrance in our one-of-a-kind 1915 cottage. Couples can walk to and from town, take in a film at Tryon’s vintage theater, enjoy a gourmet meal at Sagrada, and then relax in the saltwater pool or take an outdoor shower. Enjoy the patio in peaceful privacy. We'll stoke the firepit for you on cool evenings. The rooms are decorated with our own and friends' original art. Comfy linens, french press coffeepot, mini fridge, smart TV are just a few of the comforts that make it homey. As an old conductor used to say as the train approached the station: "Try on your hat, Try on your coat, TRYON North Carolina!

My mom and I enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay. The pool was divine and so refreshing!Roe is a kind and helpful host that saw to our every need.My mom is 87 and able to get around using a hiking pole as a cane. However, I would caution any older guests that the path to the private suite is a little uneven and there are couple steps up into the suite. We brought easy meals to heat up in the microwave and Roe cooked us a fabulous breakfast!Highly recommend for a short getaway!

Everything was great on Lavender Hill. Such a homey quint place with nice spaces and amenities. New modern bathroom with great shower and hot water. We will be back here again and love the town....

Perfect for a weekend get a way

The location is great. Its near town but in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was awesome and all the plants are beautiful. The host made sure we had everything we needed.

Fabulous

This was an amazing place to stay for us. My wife and I chose this property to celebrate our 27th anniversary and it did not disappoint. The host was fabulous, the salt water pool was fabulous and everything was just quiet and relaxing. We would highly recommend to everyone.

Really Charming!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tryon. Lavender Hill is nestled in a cozy neighborhood with lots of privacy, just a short walk to town. Loved the eclectic decor and the artwork was an added treat. The only thing I missed was a regular kuerig type coffee maker. We would definitely stay there again. Ro was a gracious host!

My husband and I came to Tryon hoping to relax by the pool and explore downtown, which was advertised as a short walk away. We expected businesses to be open, but didn’t realize most of the town shuts down during the week. It also rained for much of our stay.Lavender Hill has a lovely tucked-away feel, a cute hotel-style setup with a small fridge and microwave, and beautiful artwork throughout. However, the outdoor space was disappointing. Nearly all of the seating had fabric cushions that were soaked from the rain, so even after it stopped there was nowhere comfortable to sit. The outdoor furniture is older wrought iron with cushions and pads that stay wet and become very hot in the sun. There were no water-friendly lounge chairs, which was surprising for a property that charges a premium for pool access. The pool itself is beautiful—clean, cool, private, and surrounded by trees.The hosts were kind and responsive. However, during our stay Spectrum arrived with multiple trucks to install a new internet system that, we later learned, had been scheduled for the previous week. We weren’t aware this work would be taking place until the host knocked to let us know a technician would need access to our room to install a new router. Between the noise outside and needing to coordinate entry into the room, it interrupted what we had hoped would be a quiet, relaxing stay.Overall, it’s a nice place, but we wouldn’t travel to Tryon again.

This home is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the views and the town. Great food just a walk down the road. Would highly recommend. Roe quickly responded to our messages and was super nice.

Beautiful property I love all the plants. The apartment was more spacious than I was expecting and the bed was very comfortable. Great host who responded quickly to any questions I had. We really enjoyed our time here.
