A unique campsite on the beautiful Maumee River in Waterville, OH that will take you back to the sixties! It includes a 1-room cabin that sleeps 2 on a futon as well as a vintage VW Bus with an air mattress. Both have electric heat and air conditioning! The cabin has a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, sink, and coffee maker. It features a private bath with a camp-style sink and toilet and a hot shower. You'll have the use of free kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, and a small fishing boat.

This is a rustic cabin in a wooded corner right beside the Maumee River. People that love nature will adore this little spot of heaven! Wildlife is abundant here & it was very peaceful & calm. We were happy that it's dog friendly.The host, Parker, was so friendly & accommodating & the use of boat/kayak/canoe was a surprise extra!

Great stay

Beautiful location, super friendly and attentive staff, bonus was use of watercraft and bikes to explore area, nice to have firewood provided and BBQ grills at each site. Will be coming back.

This was our first attempt at car camping, and Camp Peace ended up being one of the best getaways we’ve had. It sits in that perfect middle ground, where you can be in nature with just enough comforts to relax and enjoy it.The peaceful setting made it easy for us to reset and slow down. The cabin was a great staging area for our gear, and my wife caught a nice sheepshead right off the dock. Parker was kind, generous, and always ready with a joke. He brought wood for our first night’s fire and dropped off nightcrawlers so my wife wouldn’t run out.If you’re ready to surrender to nature, get a little dirty, wet a line, cook over the fire, and just chill — Camp Peace is the place to do it.The 15‑hour drive let the magic we found here is sink in and is something my wife is already planning and plotting to recreate for ourselves. — The Lawsons

Absolutely amazing

Parker and Cathy were excellent hosts. The entire property was beautiful. All of the cabins would be amazing to visit. Definitely can’t wait to go back.

Off season getaway

We were looking for a "close to home" quiet getaway. When we arrived the host (who is super friendly and very accommodating) offered us an upgrade to a nicer cabin with a hot tub. The camp has a fantastic location, being close to restaurants, parks, shopping, entertainment, hiking and biking trails and watersports right out the front door..

Relaxing

If you enjoy a river view this place has that. Small cabin but big enough 2 people. There is another cabin close by but also far enough that you habe privacy. Clean and stocked with what we needed. Will be back.

Nature experiences await

We enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the riverfront property. The stay was what we were hoping for. We wish we could have had more time to enjoy the water activities, hiking and more relaxing. Could have done a little less with all the spiders and cobwebs; however, that made it a true nature experience.

Trip

Site was nice, but exiting the property was hard on my vehicle because there were deep dips in the soil on the path out. Nearly damaged my vehicle. There was no heat in the cabin. It was freezing, so cold we had to leave early. Overall the stay was not worth the money and i would never recommend it. to anybody.
