Updated Ski in/Ski Out Studio - Great Views - Deck - Affordable

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the Six Pack lift. Our 500 SF studio condo (Unit 526) is located on the 5th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible. The views of the Needles mountain range from the private balcony are amazing.

There is also a wood-burning fireplace (firewood is provided) as well as free high-speed wireless internet and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pots/pans etc., dishwasher and a washer/dryer are located in the unit.

Double pull out sofa (more then 1 adult is not recommended for the pull out sofa).

There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lot. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) on the ground floor.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Great location and cozy condo

The studio condo is great for 2 people; it was cozy and comfortable, with a wood burning fireplace. The bed was comfy and water pressure was awesome and hot (especially nice after a day skiing!). The location is fantastic! Ski lifts are right outside, and Purgatory Village with food and shops is within a few minutes walk. The host was very responsive when I had a few questions and when I requested an extra blanket. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back to ski Purgatory.

Spring Ski trip

Property was easy to find and park at, and had a great view of the ski slope. Everything we needed for our stay was available and clean. Would come back again.

Pictures are accurate. Nicely updated studio perfect for one or two people or small family. Clean and comfortable. Great view of mountains.

Very pretty condo. Small but adequate. If you’re planning on buying groceries and cooking, plan small. Dorm size refrigerator. No oven(toaster oven). Nice view.

Spring Break Snowboarding Trip

Compact Stay in Perfect Location

The suite itself is small (very close living for 4 people) and some of the furniture (the main bed) is showing wear and tear. Our suite was not cleaned prior to our arrival which was a disappointing hassle.

Hiking!

Excellent access to hiking. Perfect studio condo for one. Would work for two also. I cooked all my meals there. Everything I needed to cook was on hand. Beautiful view of the West Needles. Loved the covered parking - I arrived ‘home’ a couple times in a deluge. Lots of disposable supplies on hand. Two week stay. First week - great internet. Second week - the internet was sketchy but would work okay after a reboot. Excellent condo. Loved my time there. Didn’t want to leave.

Amazing views from Porch!

Also, the freezer didn't keep ice cream frozen and there is no ice or icemaker in the building. But, otherwise, the space is very nice and the location is great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this building and this type of unit before and it is walking distance to to the lifts and the village area. The unit itself is perfect size for my wife and I and would be OK for a family of four or four really good friends as the space may be tight. The unit was very clean and Katy made us feel very welcome. The only suggestion I have for the owners is the kitchen needs a pair of cooking tongs and a can opener. We will stay here again

Reviewer Comments: Great location, very clean. 2 drawbacks, condo had alot of "stuff" around, very small area for so much stuff that wasn't needed, just for decoration. Second one - management company kept texting before it was even time reminding of checkout day & time, I am very aware of checkout day and time, someone on vacations know when they have to leave. That was not necessary and a big turn off.
