We absolutely loved this house in MDina. It was very clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. We loved the old buildings in the 4th century fort city. Joanna was an excellent host and we loved her. Communication was great. I would give her 10 stars if available. It is walkable to restaurants, bars, and shopping. 1,000% recommend this home. We will definitely be staying here during our next trip to Malta.

A lovely quiet house in an excellent location. We chose this property in Mdina as we wanted somewhere that would be a bit more tranquil in the evenings – and it definitely delivered. After a busy day out the more peaceful environment was very welcome. Mdina is a beautiful, compact old town with excellent restaurants. It is next to Rabat which has shops and further restaurants and bars, which meant we didn’t have to go very far when we wanted to dine out. Mdina also proved to be a splendid base for visiting the rest of the island - Valletta (lovely but busy in October), Gozo, the Three Cities and various prehistoric sites. Public transport from Mdina is excellent and many guided tours will pick you up at Mdina. The house itself is a lovely old stone building on a quiet side alley and we very much enjoyed sitting out on the roof terraces in the evenings, watching the sun go down. The property is comfortable and as described, with good amenities. We cannot praise our hosts, Joanna and Andrea, too highly – their communication before our trip was faultless and they helped us to arrange transfers from and to the airport at both ends of our trip, which made things very much more relaxed. We highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in the old town in a property with real character. Our thanks to Andrea and Joanna for being kind and helpful hosts.

What a find!

Lovely, old townhouse in historical Mdina. Full of character. The town is like a film set and, in fact, a crew were filming while we were there. The house has 2 roof terraces for sitting out during cooler parts of the day, with great view. Also, on the ground floor at the bottom of the light-well, a patio with table and chairs off the kitchenette/dining room. It’s 2 flights up to the double room (with en-suite and an in-shot with sink and fridge); stairs maybe just a little bit steep if you’re unfit like me! The two twin rooms, one of which is en-suite, are one floor up. There’s also a shower and loo on the ground floor. No TV, but with Wi-Fi we could watch Netflix on our laptop. The owner was very helpful and nice. Lots of restaurants round about and Rabat with more restaurants and cafes is just a few minutes away on foot through Greek’s Gate. Parking is outside the town walls, but the place is so small you’ve not got far to go. No grocery shops in Mdina itself, small ones in Rabat, but we drove to Lidl a short way out of town.To conclude, we loved our stay there and would recommend it highly.
