Thank you for considering our beloved custom-built beach home for your next vacation escape. It was built to serve as a peaceful retreat from the hustle and stress of everyday life — a place where our family could relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories. Now that our children are grown and off on their own adventures, we’ve decided to open our doors and share this special place with other families looking for the same kind of joy, togetherness, and fun.
Whether you're casting a line from the shore, soaking up the sun on the soft white sand, building sandcastles with the kids, taking long strolls by the water, or paddling a paddle board or kayak — you’ll find your own perfect escape here. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and family memories are made without effort.
Families with young kids will especially appreciate the typically calm waters and the peacefulness of our uncrowded beach — a very rare find in Florida these days. First-time visitors are often amazed to discover that a place this quiet and unspoiled still exists. We just smile and tell them, "that’s why they call it Florida’s Forgotten Coast.
Designed Around the View
From the moment you walk in, you’ll see that the house was built to showcase the the natural beauty of the beach and Gulf waters. Wall-to-wall windows stretch across the beachside of the home, bringing those sweeping views right into the great room, both master bedrooms, and the screened porch.
The design is a blend of upscale comfort and coastal cottage charm. The heart pine floors — reclaimed from a nearby plantation — give the home rich character and warmth, and the laid-back Southern style is something you might expect to find in the pages of a *Coastal Living Magazine.*
The Heart of the Home
The great room is where everyone naturally gathers. With soaring ceilings, over 1,200 square feet of open space, and those stunning heart pine floors, there’s plenty of room for your whole group to cook, dine, lounge, and just hang out together. The open-concept space includes a large, fully-equipped kitchen, an oversized island, a spacious dining area and a home theater. Whether you're preparing meals as a family or just grabbing snacks between beach adventures, you’ll have everything you need.
Step outside and you’ll find one of our favorite spots: the screened porch overlooking the beach. With ceiling fans, comfy rockers, and a cushioned outdoor sofa and chairs, it’s the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon naps, evening cocktails, or simply watching the waves roll in.
Entertainment for All Ages
We know how important it is to keep everyone happy — especially on rainy days or quiet evenings in. That’s why we’ve set up two separate home theater systems: one in the great room for adults and another in the upstairs media/bunk room just for kids and teens. Both have large flat-screen TVs, surround sound, and Apple TV for access to all your favorite streaming services. Every bedroom also has its own smart TV with popular apps like Netflix, YouTubeTV, and ESPN.
Kid-Friendly & Fully Equipped
Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered. The house includes a baby crib, playpen, high chair and a stair safety gate, In addition to the beds located in bedrooms, two extra twin mattresses are available to pull out if needed for extra guests.
Outdoor Living
Downstairs you’ll find a Weber gas grill and a large fish cleaning station — ideal for cleaning and grilling up your catch of the day. There’s also a fire pit surrounded by handcrafted cypress Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, or stargazing under the vast Gulf sky. A large private outdoor dressing area with a hot and cold water shower, is loved by both children and adults for a refreshing finish to a day on the beach.
Explore the Area
When you're ready to venture beyond the beach, there’s plenty to do. Try your hand at a local fishing charter, kayak the nearby estuaries, hike nature trails, or explore historic sites in the area. For golfers, the St. James Bay Golf Resort — just five miles away— offers a challenging, professional-level course. And if you’re a cyclist, nearby trails on St. George Island and in Panacea offer beautiful rides through miles of untouched Florida landscape.
One thing’s for sure — you’ll never have to worry about crowds, noise, or traffic here. If you're looking for a college spring break party scene, this isn’t your place. But if you're looking for serenity, beauty, and true connection, you’ve just found it.
