Enjoy resort life in the heart of the Resort! This property will comfortably sleep six guests. This beautifully decorated condo is located on the 4th floor of the Pilot House - just steps away from the sparkling lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness room! The Baytowne Wharf is right out the front door! Spend warm summer evenings lounging on the balcony while enjoying a resort view. Take the tram to the sugar white beach, walk to restaurants and entertainment at Baytowne Wharf, or enjoy the most beautiful lagoon style swimming pool complex at the resort.

Our cozy family room offers a queen sleeper sofa, an HDTV, and complimentary WiFi. The sleeping alcove offers a bunkbed with 2 twins and and HDTV. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal for the group. The master bedroom is complete with a comfortable king bed, custom linens, an HDTV, and full bathroom. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, but please bring your own beach towels. A nearby elevator provides easy access to the pool level and the entrance to the Baytowne Wharf. The tram stop is located right outside the Pilot House front door, so hop on the tram and zip on over to the beach.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund.
Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled

a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Great Location

Great location, close to amenities. Property manager was attentive.Beds were very uncomfortable. Dishwasher did not work. Note: there is no TV in the bedroom with the bunk beds.

Fantastic location!!

This property is close to everything at Baytowne Wharf. The property manager is so incredibly helpful and kind. The tram makes getting around the property a breeze.

Never wanted to leave!

We loved our stay so much we extended a day. Tried to extend another, but it was booked, lol. We will be back for a longer visit next year!

Great vacation spot

The condo was as pictured. Location was super convenient to shops and restaurants in the village and to the beautiful pool, hot and cool spas, and work out center. Phyllis was friendly and helpful. Kids are already asking when we can go back!

Cute Place

This was a nice place right in Baytowne Wharf. We didn’t use many of the amenities because all of our activities were in Destin, but it was nice and quiet. Only complaint is the racist poster in the kitchen with pictures of sambos (black people with giant lips) and Indians, it doesn’t even match the beach decor.

We visited during Hurricane Michael and therefore had to follow the mandatory evacuation orders. The owner contacted us and was very helpful about the evacuation orders. Wish we could have stayed for the full duration of our trip.

Loved the convenience

Like many other reviews said, the beds were really uncomfortable. Even my 5 year old said his bed wasn’t comfy and he was ready for his bed at home (which is not an expensive mattress at all). Everything was very clean. There was a slight musty smell. Loved that we could just walk to restaurants and shops or take the tram to the beach. It is surprisingly quiet. We did not hear the neighbors or outside noise at all and we were there during a festival. Would definitely book again if they get some better mattresses!

Great location

We only stay at Sandestin when we visit Destin/Miramar beach. As kids got older we keep getting a bigger place. We stayed 4 nights. Managment answers faster than any other host i’ve stayed at. It’s clear by instructions that theres no condiments at all in the house not even salt. But there is enough pans, 2 types of coffee machines, a very nice toaster that made me realize i need a new toaster. Being able to wash my clothes before leaving was great. This place is located in the heart or Baytowne. Yet pretty quiet place. The 1 and only issue, the MATTRESS!!! Lawrd have mercy my spine is devastated and i cant move my neck without pain. Other than that Flinstones Mattress , it was all great.

Awesome Floor Plan

I love this layout. The bedroom with the bunkbeds was the selling feature. Make sure you pack a nighlight for this room. There isn't a window. I gave this place a perfect score because there wasn't a furniture option lol. My only complaint would be the master bed. It is like sleeping on plywood and left us hurting pretty bad, every morning. A mattress topper would be an easy fix.

What You See is What You Get! No frills rental, but comfortable and clean. Limited supplies like trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent & toilet paper was communicated ahead of time, so we stopped by WalMart on our way; very helpful to know! The check-in packet was detailed & helpful. No spices, cooking spray, etc. included, but there were coffee filters. There was painting happening our entire visit, so the balcony was inaccessible and there were painters outside the windows & doors most of the daylight hours, so we kept the curtains closed. No fault of the property mgmt team, though it was disappointing. Great location, right next to everything in Baytowne. As mentioned in other reviews, the master bed is HARD and will mess with your back. Forewarned is forearmed. Washer & dryer work well. Only 3 tram passes included with rental, so our family of 4 couldn't all ride together. Overall, good value for the money, excellent location. Would come again!

Pro's and con's

The condo looked exactly like the photos and the decor is really cute. Everything was a good size and the kitchen was well stocked. We also thought overall the condo was pretty clean. The floors could have been a little cleaner but overall not bad. It was not right on the beach but we knew that at booking. The location is very convenient to Baytowne Warf and there were fun things for us to do there with a family with a 5 year old. The pool that was right at the condo was a decent size but we really wish that there were umbrellas at the pool since we do like to take a break from the sun. With all of that being said, I still would not stay here again for the following reasons: The biggest thing was that the beds were absolutely awful. By the end of the week my husband and I both were in so much pain. We could not wait to leave by the end of the week so we could go home to sleep in a more comfortable bed. We were not able to rest on our vacation and that is the whole reason that we take vacation in the first place. Also, both DVD players in the master bedroom and the living room did not work at all. We tried 3 different times. We have a preschool age child who goes to bed early so it would have been nice for my husband and I to be able to watch a movie in the evenings. In addition, the front door to the condo had a code entry door-which is great but it looked like on the inside that the door had been broken previously and had not been fixed correctly so I couldn't lock the door myself from the inside so if anyone had the code they would walk right in. With a young child this made me extremely nervous. Lastly, the parking was a convenient location to the condo and close by but we had a really hard time finding a parking spot at all. We love Destin and have probably been 10 times or more and this was our least favorite condo.

Beautiful location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: overall, a beautiful location and spot. The porch was my favorite...a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the birds chirp and a cold beverage in the evening while listening to the frogs. Short drive to the beach or use the trolley. Very convenient to shops, food and entertainment. Now, things that could have been better: the floors were filthy. All of our feet were black on day 1 within an hour. I didn't bother to call but I'm sure they would have came and mopped. The shower (hair left) was not cleaned well and when packing up I noticed the cord on my cpap (that was on the floor during our stay) was filthy with hair(not mine). There is too much knick knacks sitting around that you don't have space to put your own things. I barely had room for my cpap on the nightstand. The closet in the bedroom was stacked to the ceiling with extra linens (only due to Covid19) and couch I couldn't hang my clothes in there. The dresser in the bedroom had broken handle and hard to open close. The bathroom shelves had decour on every shelf, so we had little space for our stuff. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. I know people don't cook on vacation, but I do and since one of our only meals out was bad and cost $94....we ate in. I will admit, i didn't call anyone and likely some of the cleaning issues could have been resolved. My contact person was always friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make things smooth during booking and answered every question for me. She was wonderful! I also called the night we arrived because security put a sticker on our car as we were not given a parking pass. We stopped at the gate, showed the guard our reservation info to obtain initially and all he said is " I cant read this, I dont have my glasses". So, we had to clue we needed a pass and parked in the garage that needed a code to get into. When I called they were super helpful explained we needed to get pass from gate. Baytowne Wharf - Excellent Stay!

This was an excellent location with easy access to the beach and everything surrounding the Sandestin area. When it says it's a "4-5 minute walk" to the pool and the baytowne wharf village, it's basically steps to both! The room was exactly what we needed for a family of three. Easy access & very uncomplicated process through and through. Only recommendation, just like the other reviews, is the bed. A little too firm for both of us sleeping on it, but can't really complain.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was great. The only downfall was parking. A lot of the time our parking spots would be taken by someone visiting at the pilot house and not staying. When telling the security guards we had to park 1 mile away and walk he said sorry there wasn’t anything he could do. When you pay to stay the parking garage should be monitored so this doesn’t happen. Other than parking this is a great vacation spot!
