The location was exceptionally convenient. The home definitely needs some upgrades but it's priced where it should be as is. The biggest downsides for me was the constant smell of mothballs and that the living room did not look like the photos. There was now dark couch covers on and blackout curtains making the living room extremely dark where you had to have lights on to even see. Overall, I think it's great place to stay, especially for the price. I did have to message the host one time with questions and they got back to me almost instantly.

There are 2 lights in the living room You cant complain about the livingroom being dark and you are only using 1 of the lights. Our livingroom and all of the property looks exactly like the pictures and you would notice this if you tried turning both lights on

Nice location, nice property

Overall, this was a really nice property. It was as described and the property manager was very responsive. GREAT location for access to UCONN/Rentschler Field. Would stay again. A lot of nice personal touches.

Squirrel Cottage!

This little house is tucked behind some bigger neighbors. It was comfortable and quiet! We had a ball watching the antics of a family of squirrels. It fit our needs perfectly!

Pics are deceiving prob from 2021 when the property was at its prime, the property is neglected. You cannot access the porch in the pics, as it is overgrown with weeds and vines. The MUSTY smell is unbearable to breathe appropriately. We couldn’t open the windows to air out the property as there were no screens and looked like the sealant would have disintegrated if we did. Cleanliness 3/10- toaster oven had some left over crumbs for us to share from the previous tenants. Small wavy black hairs found in bathroom that is off of the kitchen. Linens that were left out for us, looked like they had been used to clean and not for personal use. Took us 10 minutes to agree to get a hotel instead, which was well worth it! Let’s be clear, we assumed we wouldn’t get our money back, and we were so dissatisfied we were happy to pay for another place to stay. The host didn’t acknowledge but argued that I should turn on the a/c and that would make everything better. The furniture decor does not match the pics either, looks like a frat house. Gaslighting 10/10 for portrayed photos. You also get to stare into someone’s occupied house that is directly in front of property and they can stare at you. Do not book this property as nothing in the description was/is what it’s made out to be.

Not for the clean of heart

The rental was not cleaned very well at all. You may want to bring some lysol. Other than that it was a good value. We had one issue and the host was very responsive and fixed the issue right away.

1. You came with a dog that was allowed to sleep on our couches and bed 2. You made no complaints in regards to cleanliness even after someone stopped by 3. there was a power outage, which caused a shortage and it was rectified immediately. Our unit was cleaned thoroughly, and we refute these claims

Graduation stay

It's a cute little place, cosy. It could've been a little cleaner, we were not expecting home beautiful clean. The silverware tray was kinda icky, the refrigerator didn't work and was kinda icky as well. The plastic hose for the shower head broke. My friends didn't know how to get ahold of the owner as the booking was under my name. I was unable to come with, due to a severe migraine. So getting ahold of me was hit or miss due to being heavily medicated and sleeping. Had they been able to get ahold of the owner, those problems may have been fixed. They said that other than those few things they had a great time. Also the backyard looks like it's fenced in, in the pictures, it's not. It worked for what we needed, which was a place to stay so we could see my best friends daughter graduate from highschool.
