The location was excellent for biking in ponderosa state park and around Payette Lake. The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood. There were just 2 of us so the house fit our needs. It was very clean and we enjoyed the retro vibe.

This cabin was very clean. There was a bed for everyone in the family. We were surprised that there was a bed in the kitchen and that the cabin was so small. The bunkbeds and the futons are in an enclosed sunroom. We made everything work and the hosts were good at communication with us. The price was right and the location was also close to everything that we wanted to be near. The kitchen was well stocked. All in all we are glad that we stayed here.

We enjoyed the excellent location as well as the property. The location was very near downtown McCall, Ponderosa State Park and hiking. There were both good and bad things about the inside. We liked the retro setup. The TV room was nice and comfortable. We liked the presence of multiple windows, however the shades were flimsy, some would close, some would not. One had no shade, one pulled off as it was carefully being closed. Portions of the kitchen cabinets were okay, some were not clean. The floors in the kitchen area and the table/chair area were very sticky, the actual table and chairs looked clean but were not clean. When we arrived we found that the bathroom towels and rug were fully wet yet hanging for use. They had been either washed but not dried, or fully rinsed in the shower and hung to dry. It took a full day for them to dry, once they did they were very stiff. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet seat did not fit the toilet base. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The home, property, and neighborhood were pet friendly. Communication was good.

Graduation stay

My daughter graduatedon the 28th from the UI MOSS campus thats located at the state park. Location was great plenty of room.

this unit was clean and cozy. we had a good rain storm which caused a lot of standing water to wade through to get inside. other than that would stay again. very quiet

Just what we wanted, clean, convenient, and comfortable. The snow berm left by road plows was thoughtfully removed from the drivev during our stay

This was a very nice home! The neighborhood was great and we were within walking distance to the state park, so you could easily access the lake and facilities. It wasn’t far from downtown by car either. It is a small home though and there’s not a lot of privacy. But we absolutely loved the 1970s feel of the amenities and the front deck was great for relaxing!

Very Supportive and Helpful!!

This little cabin has all the vintage charm of the 70s with plenty of modern comforts! Staying here was such a dream. Want to watch a dvd on an tv from the 90s/2000s? Sure! Missing Netflix or YouTube? They have that too!! Any time we had a question, their team responded within minutes. They were very accommodating and helpful, which made our trip so wonderful.Location is also great, close to downtown but still has a woodsy/mountain feel. If you want to travel back in time to a more slow-paced and relaxing environment, this is the best choice! Not to mention, they are pet friendly and the price was great too! Would highly consider staying here again!!

Short getaway

Stayed here for a short getaway seems they may have an ant problem there were quite a few large ants alive and dead in the bathroom and around/under the master bed. Fire alarm went off in the night for no reason have to assume it was due to a bug or something in there, but did stop going off finally after an hour. Let them know about this through the phone number given for help and got no response. Overall if we didn’t have those few issues it would have been a great stay, but due to those issues I would say it was just okay.
