It was an older home but clean. Needs updating but worked ok for us when on a sisters trip. Owner was very responsive and quick to help with any concerns or questions we had.

For the price it was good. The AC did not work very well so we had to buy fans to sleep. It was a very hot weekend. It was extremely kid friendly! Overall it was good just needs some TLC.

We started 2 nights and really didn’t spend much time at the house. It was outdated which we knew because of other reviews. It was clean for the most part but we had a problem with ants. It was the tiny ants. We bought donuts and some candy for our grandkids and children. When we got up the first morning, all of the donuts and candy were covered in ants. There were ants here and there throughout the house. But in Ms Gisele’s defense, she can’t control the insects. When we were packing to leave, there were some ants on our stuff so they are all through the house. There was a bad storm the night before we came and it messed up the internet but there again, Ms Gisele couldn’t control that. She was very quick to respond to my messages about any problem I had. Overall, we had a clean bed to rest.

Location of the property was great to be able to travel in and out of Atlanta the only bad thing I could say is the beds were hard

Place was nice. Lots of natural lighting with ceiling windows as well. Nice big tub in the half bathroom just not allowed to use the jets. Lots of mirrors all over. This is a older house so the lamps and electricity is dim. The hostes was really quick about messaging back. Ahout 15 mins to chain restaurants. We didnt see the 4th bedroom that had the twin beds. So all we seen was 3 bedrooms and two and half bathrooms. One room was off limits so doesn't sleep as many people. Luckily we didnt need the extra room because we are a family of 5. Clean. We enjoyed our experience while there. Thank you.

Thank you for staying with us and talking good care of the place. If you didn't gain access to the other room in the house is because you booked for 5. That room is available for the booking with 7 or more guests. It was nice doing business with you.

Stone Mountain holiday

House was perfect except towels none in closet and the towels left on beds were very small. Definitely would stay again

Family Outing To Georgia

Overall it was a wonderful stay and easy communication with the host. Answered any questions I had concerning before going on the trip and after arriving. No complaints on this beautiful home. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

The house was very clean and had everything we wanted for our stay. The location was very accessible with amenities close by. Enough space to accommodate 10 people. I will definitely come again.

The property was conveniently located to where we were working. Our main issue was the lack of lighting. Could barely see anything in the master bedroom and couldn't play games in the dining room without moving lamps around. Kitchen had most of the basics but it was challenging. No baking pans, etc. Some updating and general maintenance would improve this location but it was decent for the price we paid.

Nice house.

We booked this home due to the fact that it was close to Stone Mountain. We had a decent time at Stone Mountain, only downside is most of the shops and things were closed. We spent two days at Six Flags which is our main reason for going to Georgia. The home is older but it's in good shape and had plenty of beds for our group.

Perfect for what we needed

We traveled from Michigan and had other family members traveling from Texas and Florida for an extended weekend get together. This was perfect for this. Some of us haven’t seen each other in 20 years and it made it very simple to be all in one place to spend as much time together as possible. We all are originally from Georgia but live in different states now. The house was very cozy and comfortable. I would recommend this location for anyone looking to stay in the Stone Mountain area of Georgia.

I mean based on what is shown in the pictures and what we paid for it turned out pretty all right so it may not be the best however it's still very much a good experience

Location/size

Loved the location and the amount of room! The kitchen fan must be replaced! The shower leaks, despite efforts to rectify. We loved the rustic place, but really needs more light. I know all the suggestions are taken seriously. I can tell that things have been done at others suggestions. I would stay again.It was perfect for us. Loved that there was a crib, books, and toys!

It served it's purpose but it could have been better too

Pros: - Sleeps a lot of people - A good amount of seating - Nice, big front yard - Near to where we frequented during our stay Cons: - Could use some more lighting inside and outside: dark and some bulbs needed replacing - Could use some more cleaning: cob webs in closets - No ample supplies, e.g. bath soap, toilet paper - Possibility of getting locked out of the property since the door with the digital lock also has a lockable door knob but the key wasn't provided. - Host wasn't reachable via VRBO app nor by phone calls when our party got locked out of the property. VRBO customer support wasn't able to reach host as well.

Family Trip-Renters beware!

don’t like leaving negative reviews and hesitated to do rented over July 4th weekend to visit family. Had to reach out for address and code that day. When we arrived at house, it was very warm (not to mention major heat wave). We turned air down and went to see family. Return later that night and house was still warm and humid. Couldn’t get it to drop down past 75*. Contacted Gisele & told issue. Said she tried to contact someone to come out but no one would and that she would bring us fans. They brought us 3 box fans and 1 table fan. That is the LAST contact I had with her. I was NOT contacted again to see how the house was or if we needed additional fans. No one ever came out to fix the air. The fans that were provided didn’t give much relief. The house itself was laid out well for a large family traveling. Plenty of space. Kitchen had all we needed to cook. The house does need an update, as it’s old. The kitchen sink leaked and there is a whole in the floor by the dishwasher. The one bathroom had no outlets in it. I reached out 3x asking for a partial refund due to no air and lack of doing anything-NO reply! Contacted VRBO and they reached out to her-still nothing!! Guess the saying is true-you get what you pay for!

First of all you don't suppose to reach out for the address because you received it after confirming your booking and the door code is given to you the day of your check-in. You booked and payed the stay for 1 guest but brought 9 more people you stayed for all of your booked days and checked out without complaining then the next day you're asking for a partial refund. Your guests made the toilet leak and you left without saying anything about it and dumped whatever oil by the entrance door which is not coming off after pressure washing it, 1 towel went missing after you checked out. So what do you want more?
