This place was amazing!!! Absolutely beautiful cabin the pictures do not do it justice. I would recommend this place to anyone. The yard was beautifully set up as well. Thank you Chad for a welcoming and relaxing vacation!!!

If you plan on using this VRBO for lounging around, this is not the spot. It worked for two people to survive but if you have any more it will feel crammed. The seating arrangement in the living room is poor and if you are 5’6 or taller your feet will hang off the beds. Overall it worked but the pictures make it look way better than it actually is. Also the front living space structure is off. The dock is a 5 minute walk but not bad. No lighters provided for the fire pit. It’s not terrible but it’s also not great.

Nice little spot. Road in front is a little busy from time to time but with the view you can overlook it. The deck was great. Close to sandstone which is a nice little town.

Had a wonderful weekend away with the girls. We went for a concert in Hinkley and didn’t mind the 30 min drive. The cabin was quaint. Seemed like it was an older hunting/fishing cabin that was fixed up. It was great to just relax in.

Good spot for exploring the area

This was a clean, well-kept cabin. Easy access and big private yard space. The one downside is it is located on a busier highway that requires you to cross it to get to the lake/dock area. This could be problematic if you have smaller kids. Owner was communicative when we needed.

If you have Dogs, THIS IS THE PROPERTY FOR YOU!! We traveled with our 4 Poodles and They were loving this cabin!! The fenced in front yard was AMAZING!! The back isn't fenced but the timber line was high and kept my dogs from crossing it so I loved that!! They loved the HUGE YARD!! The wild life around the property was awesome! So many birds. They had soot to fill the bird feeders in the freezer and so I did just that.. OMG so many beautiful birds visited me every morning while to drank my coffee! Now let's get to us.. the humans. We brought our boat. The Dock was great. The community was very nice. We left our boat at the dock the whole time and didn't worry about theft or Anything else. We caught Tons of fish. I personally caught my largest fish to date. A big Ole fat Northern Pike. (Picture included) Big Pine Lake was a fishing hotspot the full 5 days we were there. You literally couldn't catch fish. The cabin was very comfortable and the host has everything you need. The town is adorable. The community is very nice. If you have pets and are looking for a cabin by a lake, DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP.. GREAT LOCATION, GREAT FISHING AND VERY VERY DOG FRIENDLY

Great getaway!

Cabin was a nice and clean place. Loved the fenced in porch for the kids. Cabin is actually closer to the road than the picture looks like with a lot of traffic but with the porch, it was just fine. Access to the lake is across the road and about a block down the road. Would be awesome to have the access right there, but understandable. Would definitely book again! Especially working with Chad. He answered up right away with all our questions and refunded a portion of the fee even though I made a mistake on booking.

Not quite what we wanted!!

Cabin is cute, comfortable and well stocked. Negatives - roof leaked onto the carpet in the main room. The vents on ac were both very dirty and the firepit was unusable. I was accepting the tricky pics in the posting (no water access, lake is across busy highway) because the cabin is very comfortable but with the leaking roof, we will not be returning.

Nice clean cabin! Plenty of room big yard. The dock is not directly across street but it is a little ways down street we drove to dock as it was so hot and busy on 4th weekend! Spent alot of time on lake! Loved it lots of firewood to burn in backyard nice firepit! We looked everywhere for dice as we had rain one night that was only thing we couldn’t find. Great little cabin! Would stay again!
