Our late 1800's farmhouse is located just 0.8 miles (2 minutes) from New River State Park Kings Creek Access. Bring your kayaks, canoes, and tubes, or rent them at the river. Plenty of swimming, tubing, and fishing opportunities await! Relax in one of the rocking chairs on the front porch while breathing in fresh mountain air. The quaint towns of West Jefferson and Sparta are just minutes away. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Grayson Highlands State Park with great views, hiking and wild horses are only a short drive. Property is NOT handicap accessible

I cannot even begin to express how happy I am with my stay here. Check in was easy, the house was clean and it truly felt like home. Most of our time was spent on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching the pretty ladies next door (the cows) eat and lay in the field. We will definitely be back next summer!

The house was exactly as described and pictured. Very serene setting and relaxing stay! Everything we needed was already there for us. Check in was easy and we did not need to contact the host for anything. Cell service was spotty, but WiFi in the house was great! Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This property was very beautiful. We were surrounded by pastures and cows nestled in the beautiful mountains. Our host responded quickly and answered my questions. The property was convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this property and will hopefully stay here again in the future..

Best place ever!

We've been to many, many VRBOs and this by far was the best. Perfect location, great hiking, and so relaxing on the many porches. We definitely will be back.

Such a great farmhouse ! Very charming. Watching the cows and deer in the fields was very relaxing. GPS took us straight to address. Hot water was great ! I found out water pressure sometimes is a little slower with a stream fed pump so its expected in the mountains. We ate at BBQ Kevs, floated the New River and went to watch the Nascar race in Wilkesboro. Would definitely rent again ! Clean too !

Charming & Comfortable Stay

The farmhouse is a great place for a peaceful stay. Quiet, clean, stocked with the basics of what you need. Easy to get to and check in. We came for a race we were doing at Grayson Highlands State Park-- it was an easy drive. Thanks!

Lovely farmhouse in peaceful setting

Such a wonderful respite from our busy lives. Perfect setting , great home, so much fun tubing in the New River which is close by and enjoying the fire out and outdoor space and porches. Plenty of towels and supplies. Home is very clean and well kept.

Incredible Weekend

My family and I were looking for a place that was away from the city and close to Grayson Highlands. We were going to hike Mt. Rogers and see the horses. The house was amazing. It was just like being in an old farmhouse, but updated. We cooked dinners at the house and planned to use it as a staging point. Ended up, we did not want to be anywhere else. We will definitely rent this house again. Oh yea, and very easy check-in.
