The rooms and location are perfect. So cozy and clean. We loved our stay, and it was an added bonus having Wapiti Restaurant right out our front door !!

Great location for our trip to RMNP with easy access to Estes Park and the park gates. Cozy but very comfortable room, great bed for sleeping, and a nice gas fireplace to take the chill off when we got back after a hike.

This is the best cabin on the property in my opinion. It’s private, the closest river view. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the grounds were quiet and relaxing. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the outlets would reset with the A/C and turn it off mid night & my hair dryer also wouldn’t work. My guess is they both pull too much energy for the breaker. However, the cabin did have a smaller hair dryer which worked well & the ceiling fan helped during the warmer nights. (We stayed in August). The cabin is about a 30 min drive to Bear Lake Trailhead and a 5 min drive to downtown Estes Park. The water pressure was great! It was a nice home base for our hiking adventures. The pool is non functioning. It is not advertised as functioning, so I was pretty certain it wouldn’t be open. Not a big disappointment there. However, it would be nice if this property had a pool or hot tub for the price. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. It was a great way to spend our anniversary! The host John was very responsive and kind. Thank you!

This was a very cute spot! I may have misread “rare find, heated year round pool” but that was ok I understand that’s probably not realistic for Estes park. Only thing which is kind of big is it was 60degrees when we got into the room. Fine unoccupied I get it. But then the little furnace heater did NOT work. Again not the end of the world because there is a fireplace that we ran basically the entire time. Besides when I woke up dying of heat and turned it off until morning. Overall my husband and I enjoyed this quaint little cabin.
