John was a great host. We enjoyed the property. The Beam distillery is close by and the tour was great. Bardstown not far either and worth a visit.

The cabin was extremely clean and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed. We loved the decor, and the screened porch was great. We also enjoyed the fire pit.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This is a truly beautiful cabin, secluded and quiet, with lots of character and history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cabin was excellent, only issue we had was not memorizing door code, had to go back up the road to where we had service and look it up! Place was fantastic!

The cabin was as described. The communication with the host was great. Both the check in and check out process were easy. It is a great location for touring many of distilleries. Overall it was a quiet relaxing property.

Perfect location

Very close to Louisville airport and surrounding distilleries. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and very quiet location. Owners were very responsive during check in

Perfect stay!

Great location for Bourbon trail. Not too far from any place we planned to visit. Loved the peace and quiet. Our dogs loved running around the yard. Check in and out easy process. Couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay.

Nice peaceful getaway

Everything was so peaceful and the cabin was easy to find. We loved the isolation and the ability to just let our boys run around and not worry about bothering anyone. We definitely enjoyed our time away!

Quiet & Peaceful

Great place to stay off the beaten track. Wonderful place to watch the wildlife. Have a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning and enjoy nature. The cabin is a nice mix of modern convenience and rustic feel.

Peaceful, Historic Log Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely rural updated log cabin. It was extremely clean & comfortable. It was very quiet & we enjoyed seeing the fireflies come out.

Perfect Stay

We loved our stay at the cabin . . . It was very charming! It was the perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy friendship and the surroundings. The cabin was clean and well appointed. We will be coming back!

Exceptional property! Charming and VERY remote, which we found ideal, but still convenient to everything the Bardstown sector of the Bourbon Trail has to offer. Everything you need to feel comfortable, and some unexpected entertainment options (ping pong, puzzles, books). The enclosed porch is perfect for sitting out rainy days, and the fire pit makes for cozy evenings. We were talking about coming back before we left!

Peaceful getaway!

This cabin was perfect! It was so clean, and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The quiet area was very enjoyable and loved hiking the property and walking by the creek. We would stay again, thank you for opening your home so others can enjoy its beauty.

R&R w/ Bourbon Trail visits

The cabin is amazing and definitely takes you into a remote area. It totally allows you to disconnect and chill. The history of this place and its surroundings are amazing. The hosts are attentive and very accomodating!

Peace and Quiet

We stayed here during the Bourbon & Beyond Music Festival and it was so nice to get away from the crowds at night and have the peace and quiet in the woods. The property was very cool and perfect for us.

Short weekend

If you want secluded this is the place. The cabin is clean and great to stay in. No cellular signal and WIFI download is at 10 mbps.. adequate but low. Host was great.
