Pro: The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed the house and was able to speak to the host.Con: The house only has 3 and 1/2 bathrooms but the listing is showing 4 and 1/2

Home was not clean on arrival. Host asked us to leave and come back due to a late checkout. Came back 4 hours later (8pm local time now). House was now reasonably clean for the time the cleaner could spend. I talked to the host and they agreed to waive the cleaning fee.We went to clean up dishes after a later dinner. Found no towels to dry dishes.Got the kids ready for bed. There was no hand towels anywhere in the house.Went to put the kids down to bed. None of the kids beds had any blankets only top sheets.One of the bedrooms and the downstairs couch smelled heavy of smoke and the patio out back had cigarette butts on the ground.In the morning i contacted the host again asking for towels and blankets. I was told she had done all she could do for me and that if the kids were cold just to adjust the HVAC system.After some back and forth we all agreed it was best if we found a new place. The host agreed to refund us but then stopped replying to messages until VRBO contacted her after I tried to initiate the refund myself through VRBO.It was not till I handled it through my CC company did she reach out again. Was a horrible experience for the 9 of us in town to visit a military family member for early holidays.
