I grew up in Kalispell, Montana and had Glacier Park as a "backyard." I lived out of country for 14 years but the mountains called me home. I am an organic flower farmer and an outdoor enthusiast myself. I love to camp but living here I don't need to. I can do my hikes, kayaking, foraging, snowmobiling and come home to a hot shower. I decided to do the apartment because I know so many women who don't like to camp but enjoy the outdoors so the intention is to provide a comfortable, chillax solution for individuals or couples who just don't want to haul the camping gear and coolers.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
After living out of country for so long in a large city, I wanted small town Montana in my life. I chose Superior because it was my hiking territory while I lived in Missoula. I've hiked to almost every lake I know of in the area. There are still two waiting for me to visit. I can be alone in the mountains in about five minutes driving.
I've become a river rat since living here. My sister and I have kayaked the majority of the Clark Fork river from the Alberton Gorge to Paradise.
My neighbor drug me out snowmobiling last year. I'd never done that and now I'm hooked. When cabin fever sets in during the winter I can now go deep into the mountains and refill my spirit. There's a ski mountain at the Mt/ID border and the very cool bike trail there call the Hiawatha that rides through the old train tunnels.
This area was founded in gold mining and there are so many old mines, cabins etc to see if you get off the beaten path.
It is also "centrally" located in Montana language. Right off I-90 we are an hour and a half from Flathead Lake and Glacier Park. Spokane is an hour an a half away. Missoula is 45 minutes. There are several hot springs on the way to Glacier Park. Some days you throw a dart at the map and decide that's the direction and activity you are going to do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The intention of the rental is for outdoor people who just don't want to haul the gear, especially food for camping. Knowing a hot shower, the ability to make hot food without campfire smoke burning your eyes, and not sleeping on the ground but in a comfy place is waiting at the end of your excursions is the goal. The house itself is older, the apartment is in the basement, completely separate from the main house. There's room to store gear such as bikes, boats, etc in one of the out buildings so you can load up and head out for another adventure without taking everything you own.
Visitors just passing through will also enjoy the space with secured parking.
The property is also an organic urban flower farm, so from spring to fall there is usually an array of flowers to see.
