Host was very friendly and communicated quickly and clearly. House was spotless, check-in was very easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location. The cabin/home was a wonderful and comfortable place for our group. Location was perfect for day trips to many locations of interest. If you are interested in hiking, skiing, fishing, or just sight seeing i would recommend. We only had 2 nights this stay, next time will definitely be longer.

Very nice visit in this house in Rumford. Very well appointed, private and very comfortable. Property is nice to walk down to the river. I would definitely recommend.

We were very happy with the rental. Joao had nice extra amenities (like Keurig coffee pods and machine) which made the stay quite easy and comfortable.

“Amazing stay! The rental is conveniently close to multiple ski resorts, making it perfect for winter adventures. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Would absolutely recommend.”

This home is amazing. Impeccably clean. Spacious with upgrade furnishings. The bathrooms are like entering a 5-star spa with thoughtful amenities...cotton balls, q-tips, makeup remover pads and plush washcloths and linens. The kitchen is equipped with varied kitchen small appliances to include Keruig coffee maker abd pods. The outdoor property is expansive and leads to Riverside. A 2nd level deck is generous in size and cushioned patio furniture. A gas grill is right here for your easy access. On the lawn below and beyond there is a firepit with Adirondack chairs for toasty pleasure. We heartily recommend booking your next Maine mountain and lake adventure here.

We visit Maine every summer for my husband's annual family reunion. We have stayed in several vacation homes within an hour from Joao's house but this is our favorite. Not only is the house spacious, clean and comfortable, but it's located on beautiful property with gorgeous views. It is located in a quiet town but there is a Walmart, Dunkin Donuts and other restaurants within a few minute's drive. The kitchen is stocked with spices and has all of the cooking appliances you'll need, including a k-cup coffee maker, slow cooker, and even a waffle maker and hand mixer. There are plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and laundry detergent, along with extra blankets and pillows. The rooms are spacious, airy and temperature controlled, and landscaping is maintained well (which is very important in Maine as we have experienced ticks in other homes). Our 3 and 9-year old kids enjoyed exploring the library of books and games, as well as the beautiful path down to the river lined with wildflowers. Joao is very responsive to messages, and is great with communications. I truly can't say enough about this property and highly recommend it to those who want to stay in the area. This was our second 2-week stay and we can't wait to rebook future stays. Thank you Joao for opening your wonderful home to our family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate property. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. The area around the house was absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views of meadows and the river. The house was more then enough for the five of us to stay. My kids loved the loft area off the living room. Would definitely look forward to staying here again.
