Pelican Place Cottages is a peaceful and family-friendly neighborhood, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing beach vacation. You're just 100' from the direct beach access and pedestrian crosswalk to our sugary sand beaches and a short drive to local favorite restaurants and attractions such as The Gulf State Park Fishing Pier & The Hang Out! Some of the many other activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Sunrise Beach House is absolutely beautiful, very clean, fresh smelling and comfortable!!! Close and perfect beach access!!! It is as close to home feeling as it can possibly be!! Will most definitely consider going there again!!

Close to the beach! We stayed for a week with two families and the house was very spacious. The pictures are exactly how it appears. Our families enjoyed swimming at the pool in the morning and then walking across the street to the beach. Everything in Gulf Shores is a short car ride away. Many great restaurants and a few local shops also within walking distance to the home. We enjoyed our stay very much! Highly recommend this home!

Lovely stay!

Wish we could have enjoyed more time at the property! We were down for our daughter to play softball, so gone quite a bit but the decor was lovely, everything was as described and very quiet for us to rest. Will definitely consider booking again for our next visit.

The property is new and clean. The kitchen is great, plenty of cookware and appliances (including an air fryer) but no left over seasonings and coffee, be prepared. Beds were VERY comfortable. There are beach supplies including a couple of carts and some chairs and sand toys, which was very appreciated. Beach Access is right across the street. We will definitely consider staying again.

Nurses needing a break

Beautiful, great location, had everything we needed. A storm blew through, some lights weren't working and maintenance was very prompt to help. Will definitely be back.

The house temperature was amazing! The rooms were fantastic. The location was perfect! In the description it indicated an ironing board, so one would assume there was an iron. We were not able to find one. A coffee pot was noted, but not the kind…k-cup, carafe. The kitchen had plenty of accessories, but was lacking a baking sheet. We were disappointed that there was zero hand soap in any of the bathrooms, and basic seasonings that could be used for cooking. Having items like seasonings and plasticware/aluminum foil when traveling would be huge perks! We have stayed at properties where such items were left behind from other travelers and it was so nice. We have always paid it forward by leaving our unused items for future travelers. For the amount of money we paid for the week, it was disheartening that we needed to purchase trash bags, hand soap and basic paper goods. Having room for kids, I would have assumed that there would be plastic plates/bowls for use. We did notice that there were ants in the kitchen and sadly, they helped themselves to our food. Overall, we were pleased with our experience. We have stayed at multiple vacation homes, and this one by far was a basic home. I hope this feedback provides an opportunity to clarify and perhaps offer a better way of doing business.

LOVED

We loved everything about this property. Awesome location. Loved the swings and table in garage area. Was a nice hangout for kids when they wanted to get away from the parents. It could use some hooks in the bathrooms for wet towels and bathing suits and maybe an additional side table next to beds. We will book again!! No negatives. Easy and short walk to beach access.

Overall nice. Couch was a little dirty with old food between the cushions. Couch was not a pullout as described in listing. Not handicap friendly at all.
