We stayed the weekend of the Spartan race, house is very clean and has everything we needed. The quiet serenity while on the back patio was so peaceful. After doing the Spartan race the hot tub was absolutely amazing. The host is extremely nice and accommodating and very quick to respond

Pleasant Holiday Stay

We chose this house as it's close to family in Lake Placid.Convenient location to Grassy Lake via the canal. Moose Lodge is a boat ride away or 5 minutes by car.Host is very easy to work with and responsive.Would stay again.

Tree house on the lake

Fantastic stay! Amazing property, from my coffee on the boat house roof to a dip in the hot tub and a game of pool. Couldn’t have asked for more, we will be back!!

Peaceful getaway with friends

We had such a great weekend! The home was very clean and well maintained and the back porch was awesome! We loved the hot tub, tiki bar, and the view of the canal for morning coffee. The kids loved the pool table! Kitchen was well stocked with serving and cookware. TV’s in all the rooms was an added convenience as well. Close to grocery store and downtown shops, restaurants, and brewery. We will definitely be back!

Nice Quiet Place

Interior very clean and furnished nicely. Host responded to a minor issue promptly and efficiently. We like the location of the property although there is not much within walking distance which wasn't a problem for us. There is a Winn-Dixie is quite nearby. Having an induction range was a plus.We liked the Happy Chef Diner for breakfast. We would return here.

Thanksgiving with family

Older home but clean and roomy. Master bedroom could use a King bed as the bed was a little small for my husband and I. Refrigerator seal had some issues and we had difficulty getting tv access.

Lovely home needs some updating

We really enjoyed our stay. We would like to go back again. The kitchen was well equipped. We think the house could use a deep cleaning. The coffee pot was not cleaned. It Had moldy coffee grounds and still had coffee in it. The fridge had spills I had to clean up. The porch was very dusty.

House is located near the end of a cul-de-sac, so no real traffic to speak of. The neighborhood was quiet, all the surrounding properties were well maintained. There's a good amount of room inside the house, along with a large screened-in porch area. That portion didn't look well used. The 3 bedrooms were all a good size, linens and towels were plentiful.There's a pool table for those who like to shoot, along with a hot tub on the back porch. We didn't use either because our schedule was rather hectic, but they are available for those who might. If you have a full crew of 6 or more you may find eating together to be a bit challenging. There a smallish table in the dining area with 2 seats and a bench that can fit 2 more. The table can expand enough so 6 should be pretty comfortable, perhaps 8 in a pinch. There are no additional seats however, it's just the 4. I'm not sure if they have others stored on the property, but we weren't able to locate them if they do.Contacting the owners was easy, whenever we reached out to them they replied quickly. Any issues or questions you might have during your stay would likely be addressed promptly.

We did want to note that there are two additional chairs in the pool room adjacent to the kitchen that can be used for the main kitchen table, seating 6 easily. Beyond that, there are 3 bar stools for counter seating and the outdoor table can seat 8 using the outdoor bar stools. We hope to see you again in the future.
