Fantastic house in a great location! We enjoyed the beach, pool and clubhouse as well as other local attractions. The owners are very receptive to any questions I had and quick to respond. Would stay again for sure!!

Northstar is a Shining Star

The house was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. There was reading material available, games, plenty of propane for grill and deck fireplace, chopped wood for fire pit. We were very pleased and the owner quickly responded to all our requests

Home away from home

The North Star met all of our needs, the home is clean, well kept and well stocked it even had baby plates and utensils! We love that the pets were kept in mind with doggie bags and treats. The amenities are all nearby and Dorleen and Mark were super responsive and friendly. Will be our go-to for summer stays!

Stayed 5 days with my family . there was enough room for 12 of us . the kids had a ball and so did we . we're planning our next stay for 2025 . the amenities were as described and the area is beautiful . the house itself was a perfect fit. Thank you Dorleen . RUSS D'ALLURA

**An Unforgettable Winter Retreat!**

Our New Year's stay at this cozy cabin was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in a perfect blend of woody charm and modern comfort, it provided an idyllic setting for our family gathering, which included in-laws, grandparents, and kids. The cabin had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The host's responsiveness added a layer of convenience that made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a blast making s'mores by the fire , celebrating a birthday , and diving into a thrilling murder mystery party. This was truly a dream winter vacation that created lasting memories for our family.Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a magical and memorable holiday experience!

Our family of four parents and two college age kids) really enjoyed our vacation stay at this property and found that it met expectations of how it was advertised online. The beds were comfortable and made up with nice linens, and each room had its own easy-to-use AC unit. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all of the necessities, and there were more than enough dishes and cooking supplies for our needs. The grill outside was ready to go with propane, and was easy to use.Speaking of outside, the deck is very big and nice (partially covered too), and it was helpful that it had a gate at the top of the steps so that we could have our dogs contained out there with us. The ground level fire pit was also a hit, with plenty of wood available for our use.We took advantage of use of the property's two kayaks, which we could launch right from the storage area in the community. There are plenty of activities outside of the community, too, just be prepared to drive a bit for most of them.The community is quiet and well maintained, and it was nice that there were a couple of dining options right in the neighborhood. Most other dining options are at least 20 minutes' drive away, but often longer than that. Fortunately the best options we found were all within 30 minutes (mostly in Honesdale).Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and we didn't have a single problem or need for owner assistance during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

This is a beautiful property in a secure gated community. We had a family of 11 and the property had the perfect layout to accommodate everyone. Host was amazing and readily available at all times. I would highly recommend this property.
