Located in the fishing village of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, is this quaint, rustic, newly restored German style cottage that is just seven minutes away from the pristine beaches of Topsail Island and sits on the banks of Fullard's Creek. This home is tucked away down a gravel cul-de-sac road. It provides a quiet and serine atmosphere that allows the stress of daily life to just melts away.
The owner/operator is a chef and former manager of a five star lodging facility in Italy.

The home was totally remodeled in 2020 and boasts 4 large roomy bedrooms and open concept living areas. The cottage is laid out in a H configuration with a shared bathroom between the bedrooms The first bedroom has a king size bed. The second and third bedrooms are both queen size beds. And the fourth bedroom has a full day bed and two twin beds for the children. In total the house will sleep 10 people. Each room has a 50-55 inch Samsung TVs, all of them have local channels and streaming, WiFi is provided. Both bathrooms are exactly alike, with a luxury walk in spa shower. Linens and towels are provided.

The owner has provided unique amenities, above and beyond that of other vacation rentals, such as, boat ramp for skiffs and small boats (tidal creek, access depends on tides), kayaks and basic fishing gear, and an outdoor movie theater (weather permitting and at owners discretion).

Guests will be informed the day of arrival when the property is clean and ready for check-in. At that time the guest will be provide an access code for the front door.

Check-in is no contact. The code for the front door is provided on the day of arrival. We are normally available day and night and we're happy to make your stay hassle free. For boating, fishing, and watersports enthusiasts, the property has it own private boat ramp. Fullard's Creek is a tidal inlet that will accommodate shallow draft vessels during mean and high tides. Low tides are normally too shallow to get in or out of the inlet. The inlet is a tributary that flows into Chadwick Bay. The bay, in turn, flows into the New River where you can reach the Inter Coastal Waterway or the open Atlantic. Feel free to bring an appropriate size boats, jet skis, kayaks or canoes, and launch right from the convenience of your private property boat ramp or kayak launch.

The Topsail area has the feel that you would expect from North Carolina coastal living. It is a mixture of Key West, Outer Banks, and Myrtle Beach without the traffic or the crowds. Within minutes of the cottage, there are restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, surf shops, and the local Food Lion. Sneads Ferry being a small fishing community, you can still find local fish markets with the catch of the day. In August, Sneads Ferry hosts the annual Shrimp Festival. For golfers, North Shores Golf Course is a well maintained course with scenic views only 5 minutes away.
Cancelation Policy: For the months of April, May, June, July, and August, no full or partial cash refunds will be granted for cancelations made within 30 days of the arrival date. Instead, a credit will be given for the amount of the initial reservation to be applied fully towards another date at the same location, to be used within a year of the original reservation. For the remaining months of the year, full cash refunds will be granted if reservations are cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date or the customer can also choose a credit towards a different date at the same location.
