Tour the grounds and see the multitude of wildlife. Our favorite are the water birds, herons and eagles abound. Sip your coffee on the front porch relaxing to the sights and sounds of the river.
Budds Creek Maryland International Raceway is 9 miles close! Easy drives open up multiple museums and historic sites showcasing Maryland's rich heritage of our founding Fathers. Saint Clements Island museum is where you can learn about the first landing in St Mary’s, St. Mary's College and historic grounds all showcasing Maryland’s oldest county. Sotterley Historic Mansion, Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, Point Lookout State Park, and our family favorite Solomon’s Island marine museum with lots of hands-on activities for your family. The unique Amish community benefits the local farmers’ markets in the area.
