Three Lakes Getaway. Beautiful Waterfront Home, 5 miles to Wenatchee.

Enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year with golf, fishing, skiing and wine tasting nearby. If you prefer hiking there are many options. Located 10 minutes from Wenatchee.
Scenic Lake Cortez is out your back door where there are a variety of birds, turtles and muskrats.  The backyard is natural to provide wildlife habitat.
At night, sit on the deck and watch the shooting stars while the frogs sing their songs. Barbeque your dinner and serve it on the patio.
The golf course is across the street and the community is quiet. 
In the winter enjoy a day skiing on uncrowded slopes in powder snow at Mission Ridge (30 minutes). Then enjoy a soak in the two person jaccuzi or a crackling fire in the Family room.
Take a trip to Lake Chelan (50 Minutes) and enjoy the scenery or the casino or visit the Bavarian village of Leavenworth(35 minutes). The Gorge amphitheater is 50 minutes.

The house is a modern rambler with 2+ bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The master bedroom includes a king sized bed, television, walk in closet and 2 person Jacuzzi.  There are granite counter tops through out the house.    The nook has a lake view or use the dining room for larger groups.
This is my second home, not a corporate run rental, so we try to provide everything you will need to enjoy your stay!
The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed and TV.  There are 2 desks complete with computers and fast internet access.  The utility room includes a Bowflex and elliptical machine if you want to work out. There is also a comfortable hide away couch that makes into a queen sized bed.

The TV's have internet connectivity so you can download your favorite movies or shows from Netflix or Amazon Prime or Paramount Plus!

Lovely setting and the house was perfect for our needs. Our host accommodated our request for an early check-in. There wasn’t much room in the freezer for our cooler bottles due to food that is left for renters to use.

We had a great time enjoying the beautiful lake! We enjoyed the house and use of the boat. We also brought along a paddle board and had fun paddling around the lake.

We enjoyed our stay over New Year's. Would definitely stay again. Views were great, close enough to Wenatechee for any necessities. We traveled to Leavenworth and snowshoed at Lake Wenatchee. It was a great base location for us to explore the area.

This was the perfect retreat for a family get-together. We loved being right on Malaga Lake and the access to a boat and even fishing equipment that Terry so generously provided. Be aware that apparently our host lives at the house often, so has a lot of personal possessions there. But if you want a lovely house to spread out in and enjoy relaxed time playing on or near the water, this home is a delight. It's close to fun restaurants and bars in Wenatchee, which made it a fabulous place to spend a long weekend with our adult sons and just enjoy time together.

Pretty lake quiet but close to Wenatchee

Very nice house with a beautiful and very quiet lake. Also turns out that the best food in Wenatchee is all at the east end of the city, nearest this location.

We had a very enjoyable stay, and the view was definitely the highlight of the property. Our group of ladies gathered for an art retreat, and the beautiful scenery made the experience special.The owner was very communicative and thoughtful, even offering alternatives if wildfire smoke affected our trip. Thankfully the air cleared, but we appreciated the flexibility and concern.A few improvements could elevate the experience. While the home appeared clean overall, some areas, such as the table leaf seams and fireplace mantel decor, seemed to need deeper cleaning. The master bed had an incorrectly sized, very worn flat sheet that tore while making the bed, though replacement linens were available.The kitchen was well stocked, but most cabinet and refrigerator space was occupied by owner items and food, leaving limited room for guests staying a week or longer. The owner's generosity in allowing guests to use supplies was appreciated, but it can be difficult for groups to track what should be replaced. Dedicated storage for owner items would free up more space for guests.One minor point of confusion was the mention of a hot tub in the listing, which we were unable to locate and may have misunderstood.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the view and responsive owner. With a few housekeeping and storage improvements, this property could easily earn an even higher rating.

Thanks Lisa, I'll try to follow up on a couple of the cleaning items next time I'm over. On the refrigerator, it's tough to control it since other guests were there after my visit. I have modified my listing recently to make it clear that we do try to have everything you need available. I'm surprised about the sheet as you can tell we have several sets available for each bed. Comfortable retreat

We enjoyed our stay. Lots to see near by, went to Ohme Gardens and spent time with our extended family at Hydro Park. The sunshine was so welcome as we have been buried in smoke for weeks. Wenatchee has a wonderful vibe as a city to visit.

Lakeside retreat!

This met all our expectations and more. The view and bird watching were spectacular. We came to go skiing but took advantage of being able to go out on the lake in little boat provided by Terry. The owner has all the amenities and more and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Thanksgiving

This was a perfect setting for our family Thanksgiving weekend getaway! The view of the lake is amazing and the home is very comfortable and well equipped. It was a perfect size for five of us and then two more joined us during the day.

Quiet Lakeside Home

The home is very nicely appointed and right on the lake. Landlord is flexible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pantry is well stocked and TV had everything you needed for streaming etc and fast wifi for those who feel the need to stay connected

Relaxing View!

Comfortable king bed. Loved sitting on the deck looking at the lake. My husband liked how quiet it was and we all enjoyed the pool. He also found Terry helpful and easy going.

Clean and maintained. Pretty view of the lake.

Quiet neighborhood, relaxing stay. We had an issue with the door code, but as soon as Terry was aware, he corrected the problem. All four of us enjoyed our experience:)

Beautiful Lake House

My aunt and I visited to see her daughter, my cousin, for a few nights. She lives in Wenatchee and drive was quick and easy. There was beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the lake. It was also in a quiet neighborhood.

Excellent family location

We were very pleased with our stay at Terry's place. We have three teenage daughters and they loved going out on the lake. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We also had our dog with us and were very comfortable with her there. A great place for families and pets. Thanks, Terry!

Winter Getaway

Perfect location to enjoy Mission Ridge (skiing and snowshoeing) and/or winter fun at the Squilchuck State Park (sledding and snowshoeing). The lake views are exactly as pictured, very beautiful in the winter. Plenty of space for two adults, two kids (10 and 12), and a dog. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a relaxing stay.

Wonderful home on a peaceful lake

Pets were allowed and that was truly awesome, as we stayed during the heat wave and have no air conditioning at home. The kitchen was stocked. The couch was super comfortable. The grill on the deck made cooking burgers perfect.

Lovely lake-view home in Central WA

My family and I had a great stay at this well-equipped house on the shore of Lake Cortez. The couch that folds out into a bed was super comfortable, even, and offered a stunning view of the lake as well as direct access to the back deck. The host was incredibly helpful answering questions before and even during our stay, and it was a great spot to be in to visit both George and Leavenworth. Definitely recommended!

I'm a C.P.A. and I planned to retire here. Generally I am here about 25% of the time. We enjoy watching the wildlife while eating breakfast. Often we eat our meals on the patio.
We try to take a walk around the neighborhood . He enjoyed chasing the quail when he was younger. The neighbors are friendly and the golf course is convenient.
Wenatchee is 10 minutes away and has any shopping you need.

I had this house custom built after looking at homes in the region for a year. The climate is good, the view is great, the neighbors are friendly, the golf course is convenient and Wenatchee provides all the conveniences of the city.
Our goal is to furnish our home with everything you need. We have a variety of spices in the kitchen as well as some wine. The refrigerator has most anything you need except vegetables. Guest are welcome to use the food etc, all we ask is you replace any significant amount you used.

In the winter we sometimes go cross country skiing on the golf course. The lake contains bass, croppy and perch and a boat with an electric motor is available. There is also fishing gear.
