Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This beautiful house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Miami, accross the street from Coral Gables,just 15 minutes from Miami Beach, 8 minutes from key Biscayne Beach and parks, 15 minutes from the Miami international Airport, 10 minutes from Downtown,Brickell, Wynwood walls, Art District, 11 minutes from Calle 8 walk of fame, etc
.
The space
The house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two Queen beds and two twin beds. There are also two air mattresses size twin. A spacious kitchen /dinning room and a comfortable living room.

The house itself was nice, but we had significant issue upon arrival. A sign in the bathroom said no paper products, including toilet paper, could be flushed. But, the instructions through the app said that toilet paper was the only paper item that could be flushed. The conflicting information created confusion and discomfort for my group.Several of my guests were uncomfortable disposing of used toilet paper in a trash can beside the toilet. As a result, 2 guests chose not to stay and booked more expensive accommodations at the last minute, while 2 others avoided using the bathroom altogether. I ultimately refunded some of my guests because I felt responsible for choosing the property.While I understand that plumbing limitations may require such measures, this was a critical detail that was not disclosed in the listing. Had I known beforehand, I would have selected a different property. I also contacted the host for clarification about which instructions were correct—the sign or the app message—but never received a response. To avoid any potential plumbing issues or additional charges, we followed the instructions on the sign.Overall, the house was acceptable, but the undisclosed bathroom restriction and the host’s lack of communication were very disappointing. The situation ended up costing me an additional 200 and significantly impacted our stay. It felt as though the issue was ignored because we were only staying one night and had few practical options once we arrived.

I am sorry, Merrell, that you had to go through that situation, but I have always been clear in the instructions regarding the plumbing situation. People have been careless in the past, and I've had to pay a high price because of that. On top of that, the property's pipes are cast iron, and the intention is to avoid having the guest go through a bad experience.

1 night before cruise

It might be ok if you are staying with 1 or 2 people. The property is advertised as sleeping 8, we had a group of 8. Definitely did not house 8 comfortably. Not enough seats in living room and only enough beds for 6. The towel rack literally fell off the wall. There was a van in our driveway space and we had 2 cars so we couldn’t park comfortably. There was also not enough towels for everyone to take a shower. They knew we had 8 people coming so there was no reason not to make sure we had enough towels. The area wasn’t awful but not somewhere I would be comfortable bringing young kids. We only needed the 1 night before our cruise so it did its job but I wouldn’t recommend staying there and we probably won’t be back.

Fine for a 1-night stay

Did not receive check in information until 45 mins before check in and only because we asked what was going on. Not professional. Arrived late at night and there was a huge truck in the parking spot. Was scary because we were concerned someone was inside. Later found out it was the neighbors vehicle. They moved it about 15 mins after we arrived. Neighborhood seemed nice. Apartment seemed clean but there was a decent amount of mold in the bathroom due to a lot of clear DIY remodeling that was done throughout the place (no bathroom fan, leaking shower spigot, shower water temperatures flipped). Beds weren’t very comfortable. When we got the check in info the owner stated “no toilet paper in the toilet” when I inquired whether that was true or a typo I received no response. When I asked if we could get a late checkout so we could leave our packed luggage to grab lunch before going to our cruise ship, again no response. Not the best experience but doable for a >24hr stay.
