This is a very nice property for a large family on a beautiful lake. The blackstone grill was perfect for cooking large meals in no time. The lake is absolutely beautiful, quiet, full of fish and several loons finish off the peace and tranquility of the place with their unique calls. We had a very nice time at this cabin. It is close enough to Mackinaw Island, Gaylord, Grayling and Traverse City to do day trips and absolutely nice enough to spend entire days on the lake. We hope to visit again.

Amazing property and a great host! We had a wonderful time and will return again!

Brad was a great host and took good care of us. Communication was on point and the cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Would love to come up with the family in the summer to enjoy the lake. Thanks again for everything!

This place was a great "take a load off and chill" cabin! We had four adults and six children in our party and everyone had such a nice time! The area where the cabin is nice and secluded from hustle and bustle, but there are a few little stores close by (walking or 1-2 minute drive) or bigger grocery/hardware stores about a 10 min drive if needed. Brad was quick to respond with any questions we had or when he had to communicate extra details/information to us. He knew the property well and we could tell that he truly wanted to make sure we had the best time we could with no worrying. Would recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to hang out with nature, unwind from life or have a nice reset of what is important!

Little piece of wilderness

It was a huge plus to be right on the lake. The kayaks were awesome and easy to get into and out of from the lake. Plenty of room for a large family. Blackstone was a plus with propane already there and ready to go. Overall a nice experience on the lake with both beautiful sunrise and sunsets!

We found out that bunk beds don't work for old guys, One of the top bunks wasn't clean at check in. For a house that sleeps 12 there are only 8 plates.We did enjoy the fire pit and views of the lake at sundown were incredible.

Would definitely stay again

I stayed with 11 cousins and the bunk beds and living room really gave it a summer camp feel. There are also trundle beds under the bunk beds which we couldn’t tell in the pictures and they can be moved around. The weather was cold but the water felt great (although it’s a bit mucky). The house is much closer to other houses than it looks, but nobody was staying at them so it was okay. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because there were only 4 rolls of toilet paper provided for 12 people for a whole weekend and we had to get more. And the bedrooms were vaccumed but the wood floor in the living room was very dirty.
