Clean, nicely decorated, great bathrooms, had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub or on the patio looking at the view.

This a beautiful property. However, the pet fee is exorbitant - 250 per dog. We had to scramble last minute to find a dog sitter because the mention of this fee was buried in the listing and unclear at the time of booking. Worse yet: there was a dog urine smell in the main bedroom which shows that the pet fee is not being used for thorough cleaning.

The pet fee is intended to cover additional cleaning and wear-and-tear, and your report indicates we fell short here — we’ll review our cleaning procedures to ensure pet stays receive thorough attention. We’ll also review the listing and booking flow to make pet fees and policies more visible so guests can make informed decisions before booking. This home had everything, I have never had an experience where you had everything you needed in the kitchen, and throughout the house. And the views from the deck were amazing!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious, with plenty of room to spread out, a large kitchen, two decks, a hot tub, and incredible views. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around Steamboat and explore the area. We also appreciated that the home was pet friendly and included a garage. The house itself was comfortable, but there are a few maintenance items that could use some attention. The water and ice dispenser in the refrigerator weren't working, several boards on the deck were loose, and the heated floor in the main bathroom wasn't working. The kitchen was large and generally well equipped, although it was missing a few basic items we expected to find, such as a baking pan. The property also provided a pet waste bag dispenser and specifically asked guests to use it, but it was empty during our stay.We were also disappointed that the fireplaces were turned off. We texted the host asking how to turn them on but unfortunately never received a response.None of these issues kept us from enjoying the property, but addressing some of the maintenance and communication concerns would make a noticeable difference. Despite those shortcomings, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the home’s convenient location, beautiful views, and inviting outdoor spaces.

I’m sorry about the maintenance issues and the lack of timely communication. I’ll share your notes with our maintenance team so they can inspect and repair the refrigerator dispenser, loose deck boards, and the heated bathroom floor. We’ll also restock kitchen basics (including baking pans) and refill the pet waste bag dispenser. Regarding the fireplaces and the missed text, we’ll review our guest communication process and check the fireplace controls so future guests have clear instructions or access when appropriate. The view was fantastic from the deck We had a nice stay overall but a few minor items. The kitchen and bath were very clean but the windows were quite dirty and the exterior was badly in need of cleaning and painting Some of the sheets seemed quite scratchy. The layout was quite unusual as every bedroom was on a different level. Everyone ended up using the dining table as the gathering area since the actual family room was another floor below . It was two stories from the garage entrance to the house entrance. No problem for us but be ready for lots of steps.

Wonderful

Beautiful location and house is well stocked, comfortable and nicely maintained, and we were able to cook meals easily. The bathrooms are really nice and spacious. The stairs going down from the garage were a bit of a surprise but we managed easily. My family had a great vacation and we would visit again!

The views from this home are amazing and the layout is great for privacy.The only downside was the renters before us had two dogs that peed in the master bedroom and it was not cleaned up before we arrived. I informed the property manager of the issue and they didn’t clean it during our stay and only gave a fleeting apology when we checked out.

Lovely Stay

We had a nice stay and the house was a good spot to call home for a few days. The management company shuttle was super convenient and had great service and communication. Getting ahold of the office was not easy and felt difficult by design, so that wasn’t great. Some additional opportunities to add some basics (like a pizza cutter, large skillet, and hot tub towels). Overall, just a solid stay.

We stayed at the Tweedle Lodge in Steamboat for 5 days in March 2026. The home was fantastic. We had 6 people total, all adults, 3 couples. We all enjoyed, and congregated in, the kitchen/dining/great room space on the main level. Very open, great views, and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely updated and well stocked for preparing and serving our group of 6. The bedrooms were all great, nice mattresses and comfortable. Every couple had their own bathroom, though sometimes on a different floor than the bedroom. The hot tub is on the lower deck and fit 4-5 comfortably, with amazing views. The ski gear could stay “up top” in the garage, or in a nicely appointed gear room with automated drying racks for boots/gloves, and plenty of hooks and cubbies, for ski gear.We did not rent a car, and we did fine with this home rental. The home is in the neighborhood near the gondola path. With the warm March weather, the typical fast access to a ski slope to ski down to the base wasn't feasible. The mgt co has a VERY handy shuttle service, and APP, which we used extensively during our trip. This is a truly lovely home!

Ski Trip

The property was beautiful and the location was great. The only negatives were the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable for all. The shower in one of the king size bedrooms has a removable shower head that either points to the wall or out of the shower so impossible to shower in it. The built in kitchen trash cans smelled very strong of fish.

Amazing location

Beautiful and very well located home just minutes from lifts/base area. Views are spectacular from the two decks. Nice size and layout, especially the lower level with the bedroom/couch, tv/bar area/hot tub. Laundry room was also very nice with boot dryer and large w/d. We were a bit surprised by all of the levels given the pictures provided with the listing. This would not be a good location for anyone that has difficulty with stairs, and the process for getting in and out of the garage could be improved. We had to call maintenance for a few items (faucets on a few sinks and lighting), but overall, the house was well appointed. We were only able to use the shuttle service on one of the days of our stay, which was very disappointing. That was one of the key reasons we picked this property. We had to drive ourselves and pay for parking at the base. There appears to be a way to walk down the road and potentially access an area that might be ski in ski out, but the weather was such that we didn't attempt it. We would rent here again and very much enjoyed our stay.
