We enjoyed our stay tremendously and it was in a wonderful location. The tiki bar was a big hit and the lanai was perfect. Generally was clean, but needed a deep clean (fans, lights, etc ). We had a faucet that wasn’t working properly and they put a new one in within a reasonable time frame. Would stay again, but they nearly doubled the rates.

Thank you so much for your review! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We will certainly have the house scheduled for a deep clean and we are happy to hear the office rectified the faucet quickly. We have kept the rates the exact same for the past 3 years, so you may be looking at different dates as there are different prices for high season vs low season. Please reach out and we would be happy to help explain further and get you booked again for next year!

Great location, and the setting by the water is lovely. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during our stay. The ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms weren’t working for the majority of our visit, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. The pool also needed to be cleaned during our stay. It wasn’t until our final day that we realized how blue and clear the water was actually supposed to be. When we arrived, it was more of a green color, and we had assumed this was simply the style/color of the pool tiles. The kitchen in particular could really benefit from a deep clean and some attention. The trash bin was quite dirty, the cupboards were very disorganized, and pots and pans had simply been crammed into one of the cupboards. We actually left the kitchen cleaner and more organized than we found it.Overall, it’s a lovely property in a great location, but better attention to cleanliness and general maintenance would have made a big difference to our stay.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!! We're glad you enjoyed the location and the being by the water! We're sorry the ceiling fans, pool, and kitchen cleanliness fell short during your stay. We wish we had known about the pool while you were there as we would have contacted the pool company immediately to get it resolved. The ceiling fans took a bit longer to fix due to an underlying electrical issue that took some time to properly diagnose, but that has since been handled. Also, please be sure to reach out to us if there are any issues with the cleaning as we can return our cleaners to resolve issues such as that during your stay. Thank you for being our guests, and we hope to have you back as our repeat guest!! Kind Regards, Your MNVR Team

2/10 Terrible

-We had a problem with the pool; my 6-year-old daughter developed a skin rash because the pool had been treated with chemicals just days before our arrival—something we were never told about. We called the office, and the receptionist told us we had to wait about three days for the pool to be ready for use. Since our stay at the house was only a week long, we couldn't use the pool at all due to this issue, and the smell of chlorine was overpowering.-The cleanliness was terrible; the furniture upholstery was very dirty and gave off an unpleasant odor, and we found dog hair in the corners of the furniture.-We were hot during the night the thermostat said it was locked by the homeowner, so it would only go up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit with maximum.

The property is beaitiful, however the beds suck. Its time to invest in new matressess in the master and guest room. Also i think you should invest in a bug company as there are bugs in the house. There are ant traps set out but you have more than ants. Every morning we would wake up with bug bites.
