April school break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean and a great location. We had kids from 10-15 and they had plenty to do. Caught fish from the beach in front of the house. It was a little too far from the pier to walk with fishing gear. Close to grocery stores. Duck donuts is a must.

Nagshead visit

Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location of this home and appreciated being near a lifeguard/public beach with children.We wished there was a large table on the top deck so we could dine with out entire family outside.The home smelled musty and had water damage in many locations. A dehumidifier of some sort would be a huge help, instead of the circular containers all over the two bottom floors. Overall, the space was great for our group and we had a fantastic vacation.

A RAINY WEEK AT THE BEACH

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: OTHER THAN THE RAIN, NICE WEEK. THE HOUSE WAS NICE AND AS ADVERTISED. HOWEVER, THE DUNES SEEMED RATHER BUILT UP AND WALKING UP AND DOWN FROM THE BEACH WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR THE OLDER PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP. I'M ALSO USED TO THERE BEING STEPS AT LEAST 1/2 WAY DOWN THE DUNES.

Great stay

Meh

Dryer didn’t work which was a big issue for 8 people at the beach for a week. No spare TP and each one was almost out. No Paper Towels or trash bags. No salt or pepper. Had to make several trips to the store as we realized everything was out.

The perfect OBX House

We stayed at this house April 22-28 with my in-laws, brother in law, 18 y/o daughters, and 13 y/o sons. The view and location are truly perfect. The big main living room and fully stocked spotless kitchen—- wow! Loved that there was a lower level bedroom and bath that the girls could take over, bunk beds for the boys, a nice secondary suite for my in laws- all perfect. Almost the entire house has been updated and is in great overall shape. Even the bathrooms that look a little tired in the pics really weren’t that bad. The boys spent the day between boogie boarding, pool, hot tub and back to boogie boarding. I loved taking my coffee out on the beach every morning. Make sure you are aware of personnel schedules (trash pickup, pool guys coming, etc). This house is the last house next to a parking lot too which is really nice because you have no neighbors on one side. Thank you for a memorable family vacation. We will be back!

Family vacation

This was the perfect size for 6 adults with some extra room to spare. Great location, private walk to the beach and close to many of the Outer Banks activities. Loved this clean and bright house on the ocean

Clean but Old and Buggy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condition of the rental was fine, though signs of age are more apparent in person than in the photos. The house was clean, furniture fine, etc. However, the big issue we had was with the large "water bugs" that would sporadically pop out and upset the guests. We killed probably a dozen in our week-long stay and found a handful more dead on the floor, apparently from the pest control treatments. Their presence killed some of the vibes for our group and while we tried to make the best of it, everyone was pretty grossed out.

It was a great fit

Our family of 11, of various ages, stayed for the week and it was a perfect fit. The house was a great size and accommodated all of us. The pool and walk to the beach was great! We would definitely recommend staying here!

A relaxing escape

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once we were settled in (the intrusion alarm was accidentally armed and blasted at us during the first half hour of our stay), our time at Sunday Drive was the relaxing retreat we were looking for. The property was easy to get to, private, and well maintained. Who doesn't love soaking in the hot tub after a long day, listening to the ocean, looking up at the stars?! It was an easy walk down to the beach, and a nice stroll to the nearby pier and some shops and restaurants. Three master bedrooms provide privacy and diversity for large groups and families. The spacious kitchen allowed for cooking and socializing. All in all, I'd do it again!My biggest request / complaint is that there weren't screens in the windows. On mild days, we couldn't open the windows to enjoy the ocean breeze and fresh air, which was pretty disappointing.Renters should be aware that there are no cleaning supplies or spices at all. Properties I've rented before have been lightly stocked with some of these "basics", but we had to purchase salt, pepper, trash bags, sponges, dish soap, and hand soap from the nearby grocery store. Not blaming the property for this, but I would have found it good to know before the trip.

Sunday Drive Beach House 2016

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good experience overall. Weather was beautiful until TS Hermine came through the last day we were there. House was perfect and had a great view from living room and dining room of the ocean. Top deck right off living had a hot tub and also a great view. Pool was perfectly situated to catch afternoon sun and keep water comfortable. House does have a lot of steps so you just have to be careful with kids and make sure the gate(s) are up. 2 bedrooms on second floor had their own doors leading out to the second deck which was very nice. Adequate bathrooms throughout which was nice when getting ready for dinner or to go out and about. We had a great vacation.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice house conveniently located near water and has great view. For the rental price though we expected place would be clean. It was not. In fact we saw several roaches in living room. In addition several light bulbs in master bathroom were not working and I had to move good ones to replace bad ones. Poor lighting in master bathroom even with working bulbs. TV in master bedroom not conviently located. We were disappointed that house looked like no one maintained it or cared about it.

Reviewer Comments: Better then Good, A person showed to inspect Tv Cable after we had arrived, he said he was running late. we didn't let him in, we were unpacking, Beach access next to cottage had people going to the bathroom outside of the port-a-potty, several people tried to use the cottage access to exit the beach. Sand was to steep for my mom & Dad most of the steps covered in sand.

Sunday Drive was a very good house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. We were within walking distance of restaurants, beach supplies, activities and goodies. Groceries were just a mile away. Everything was convenient. We had just a few issues which were taken care of quickly by Beach Realty. The house was very well equipped. The beach was wide even at high tide. Luckily hurricane Irma turned inland and kept the rain away, however hurricane Jose kept the waves very high all week long.There were lots of beach toys and a few beach chairs. The pool water warmed quickly.Everyone really enjoyed both house and location.
