Very enjoyable stay. Wonderful layout. Clean and more amenities than I expected, primarily in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great trip. The house was super conveniently located to town and the major roads in the area. The view from the deck was amazing.

Peaceful retreat with lots to do. From hiking in the woods to venturing out to the various state parks; it is a gem close enough to everything yet you feel like you are on your own piece of heaven.

Property was wonderful. Very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. There's no wifi or TV, but plenty of board games and trails on the property to hike. Highly recommend!

What a great property! We were in town visiting family and had a very comfortable and spacious place to relax, explore, and feel right at home. The views are spectacular and the property is very private.

Beautiful Relaxing Escape

The property was easy to find, close enough to town to pick up necessities, but far enough to be quiet and secluded. The house was comfortable and felt homey. About an hour to St. Louis and Taum Sauk. Amazing view! We would definitely stay again the next time we travel to the area!

This place was Heaven. Secluded and beautiful with a very "homey" feel. Morning coffee on the covered deck was made even more relaxing by the local wildlife (deer) coming out of the trees into the edge of the yard. Communication with the Host was fantastic! Definitely on my weekend getaway list!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with family and friends, then this is it. It is a beautiful scenic property that seems like it is set away from everyone but is actually really close to so many fun things as well as the store. It is absolutely gorgeous. My daughter took her wedding photos here because it was so pretty and peaceful.

You are 13 miles from St. Joe’s State Park. We went to explore the trails with our side x sides! So much fun. Plenty of parking for your trailer and friends. The house has a huge basement. Our grandkids absolutely loved the space. Wishing I had brought their skates. Beds are comfortable with extra sheets available. Plenty of towels and great water pressure.

We used this as our base camp for motorcycling 4 of the Mark Twain National Forestss.It worked well for us.

It was a wonderful stay. We didn’t even miss a tv and explored outside. I thought we would have played board games and cards we brought along, but the scenery was so nice and relaxing and adventurous. We didn’t have time. The host was excellent in communication they wanted to make sure we had a wonderful stay and let us know they are just a message away if we needed anything. They even sent a message asking how was everything in the middle of our stay. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable. Excellent!!
