What an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Bill and Ellie were so very nice and very responsive to all messages. The check in process was very easy and the place was immaculate. And the view.....WOW! I would definitely stay here again!

WOW does not express our feelings well enough as we walked into such a welcoming home! It is so well organized and clean! There was not one thing that we needed or would want that was strategically placed exactly where we could find it. Definitely a little piece of Heaven off the back porch as we listened and admired the Missouri River. And the icing on the cake was the sincere hospitality from Bill and Ellie. This will be an annual trip if not more often.

Beautiful getaway!

The “Hideaway” is a great place to stay! Ellie and Bill have thought of everything you need to have a wonderful stay. Their personal touches make you feel warm and welcomed. We will definitely stay here again.

The most amazing experience

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. The renters were so sweet and kind and the view was breathtaking. I will always recommend this place and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Spectacular Views

We had such a great time at the Hideaway Montana! We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding towns. It was quiet and peaceful. A great place to fish and relax!

Perfect getaway

Great place for a getaway. Place was very clean and well kept. Couldn't ask for more from the hosts. Scenery and wildlife were spectacular! Will definitely be back in the future.

This was our third time staying at this incredible property, and it honestly just gets better with every visit. If you are looking for a place that is immaculately clean, absolutely beautiful, and the definition of relaxing, look no further.From the moment my wife and I arrived, we felt instantly at ease. The attention to detail in keeping the property pristine and welcoming never ceases to amaze us.What truly sets this place apart, though, are the hosts. They are genuinely amazing people—incredibly warm, welcoming, and lightning-fast whenever we had a question. They go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a perfect stay.We already can’t wait for visit number four. Highly, highly recommend!

Awesome location to relax and recharge

This property is fantastic! It is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped, and provides great views. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from everything, but still be very comfortable, this is a great option. Ellie is a fantastic host, very helpful and kind. I loved my stay and will likely return in the future.

Perfect anniversary getaway

My wife and I made plans in both Bozeman and Helena. Toston was almost perfectly in the middle of the two and allowed us to be in either one in about 30-45 minutes. The property was exceptionally clean, and we loved the layout/design. Bill and Ellie were great hosts and provided several little extras that made us feel truly welcome at the property. If we ever decide to visit the area again, we will certainly be interested in renting the property again.

Simply Amazing

The best way I can summarize out stay at the Hideaway is PERFECT! Ellie was an amazing host. She gave us great recommendations and helped us drop our car off so we could kayak the beautiful Missouri River! We woke up to the site of bald eagles and ducks. While we were kayaking we saw otters and a fawn. Highly recommend this property. I have stayed in several VRBOs, but Ellie really makes the Hideaway extra special!

Perfect!

The Hideaway is just as it is portrayed on the website. It has everything you would ever need. The layout of the space was well thought out with a large bathroom (with bathtub!) and lots of outside areas to enjoy the view. Ellie was exceptional. She left us a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious cheese plate which we enjoyed immediately. We would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The best get away

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and couldn’t imagine a better stay. When we got there we were blown away from the gorgeous view of the river, and the cutest guest house. We were greeted with a charcuterie board, wine and snacks, and a sweet note welcoming us. We had the best stay, and will definitely be back again. Ellie and Bill were the best hosts, and sweetest couple who really made our stay even more special.

Nothing short of amazing!

There aren’t enough words to explain how wonderful the Hideaway is. Truly a beautiful, relaxing, and well thought out location. It has everything you might need and is honestly the best property we’ve ever experienced. Bill and Ellie have thought of everything and we will definitely be back. We truly treasured our time at the Hideaway and would recommend in the highest regard!

Wonderful, peaceful stay

The hosts and property were great. It's hard to tell from the photos that it is attached to the hosts' home, which we were a little concerned about when we arrived. However, it was very private and still felt like we were alone in the country. We would definitely stay here again!

A true gem outside Bozeman

If you are looking for a great solo or couple escape to rest, relax and recharge, this is the place. The owners are incredible and will spoil you! The accommodations were 5 star and perfect! The view of the river and mountains, spectacular. It was so relaxing being able to step outside on the deck, breathe in the fresh air and just “be”. The most relaxed in years! I read two books! Ellie and Bill felt like family- so kind and accommodating. Whether winter, spring, summer or fall, treat yourself to an amazing escape.

The Hideaway is an excellent retreat place or jumping off spot for adventure!

The Hideaway is a great place to stay, relax and get away from it all. It is also a great place to be for many day hiking trips in the area. The Hideaway is neat, clean, up to date in all it's amenities. Bill and Ellie are the most welcoming!

Hideaway: Heaven on Earth

I'm not often at a loss for words, but words cannot describe the comfort, beauty, design, and peace this home offers. It's evident that owners Bill & Ellie planned with their hearts in the build and decor of this welcoming hideaway. The outdoors is magnificent and the interior designed for peace and comfort. Sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the sunrise, drinking coffee while wearing our warm and fluffy (provided) robes, listening to the Missouri River run and the train whistle in the background...it is truly heaven on earth. Close enough to Townsend, Bozeman, Helena, and more, yet far enough away to feel a peaceful and welcome seclusion. Looking forward to our next visit.

Picture Perfect

Picture perfect cabin on the river. All the amenities and then some. Very relaxing and surprisingly private. Every detail of this property was well thought out, it’s a gem.
