Perfect Getaway

Beautiful, quiet property. We stayed here as it daughter attended a retreat in the area. The rental had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.

We stayed at this lovely cottage the weekend of my son’s wedding. It is so comfortable and clean. Nice and quiet location. Host is extremely friendly and communicated with ease. It is a must if you are looking to stay in the Columbus area.

Very warm and welcoming! Snacks and cold water in the fridge. Kitchen is well stocked to cook any dish imaginable. Very clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable beds. Amazing views from both front and back porch. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

Great stay

I stayed for 2 nights with my family while attending a wedding nearby. Julie's communication was great, we had no problems at all. Very nice house equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and more.

Beautiful Relaxation

Such a lovely place to meet up with a friend and share a hobby together. The layout of the hone is perfect and everything you need is there!!!

I LOVE STAYING AT THIS HOUSE!!

The atmosphere, the area, the closeness to towns, the house, the hostess - you name it - it is all amazing, perfect. We have stayed here twice now for two important events - anniversary and new years eve holidays. We love it here. Special thank you to the Hostess & Host! Look forward to coming back again!!

Amazing Hostess and Place!

We were beyond thrilled to stay at this home. We had nothing but an enjoyable time. The Hostess is amazing in her response time, hospitality, surprise chocolates and snack basket, etc. we have already booked our anniversary stay later this year and looking forward to New Year’s Eve again time!!! You can’t go wrong booking a stay here at Mae Maes house.

VRBO guests just don't come any better than Rene and Eric. They treated our property like it was there own; neat, clean and respectful. We hardly knew they stayed! We are beyond thrilled that they are coming back for their anniversary getaway and next year's New Year's Eve.

Peaceful stay in the country

We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. Looking for a place to get away from the noise of the city and hear the faint sound of a rooster crow at a distant farm you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. If we plan to come back to Texas again this will be the place we check first.

Gerry was the ultimate guest. I would love to host 1000 guests like him! He and his family treated the property with respect, followed all the house rules and left our place in immaculate condition, even after a six weeks day. Our communication was easy and they were all a joy to have stay. You would be so lucky to host Jerry in the future.
