Welcome to Belacasa!

Getaway to a Secluded, Enchanting Retreat.

Nestled among the towering trees, you'll find a hidden gem. With a touch of modern décor and ample space, you can relax in style. Belacasa boasts open space, feel at peace from the moment you arrive. The home has an open floor plan with the main level consisting of the kitchen, living space, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs is almost a loft style bedroom with it's own private bath.

The location could not get any better. Less than a mile from Douglas Beach, two miles from oval beach, and a five minute drive into downtown. Holland and South Haven are both a 20 minute drive.

The house is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet neighborhood. There is so much wildlife! We saw multiple deer families and two wild turkeys.

We absolutely loved this property and hope we can come again next year! I would say be mindful to bring your own beach towels. We also only were allowed one bath towel per guest so we were doing frequent laundry.

Great visit. The passcode didn’t work when we arrived, but immediately they provided a new passcode. Super helpful and communicative. Solid place.

Beautiful home. Just as described. Quiet, close to Douglas and Sagatuck and the beach. Comfortable beds. Kitchen well appointed. A/C worked well. We would stay here again.

Our group of 3 couples had a wonderful time staying in this Douglas property. We enjoyed taking a short walk to the Douglas Beach Park on Lake Michigan and saw a fox ambling along just pass the back yard deck our first morning. There was ample space to eat and play games at the dining room table or to sit and visit in the chairs and a sectional in the living space. The kitchen was very well equipped with nice pots, skillets, and dishes for our homemade meals. And everyone appreciated that there were 3 bathrooms to go with the 3 bedrooms. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting the Saugatuck area!

Great Stay Close to the Beach

Our family had a delightful stay at this house! It was clean and comfortable and had enough room for all 7 of us (five kids and two adults). We especially loved the cute town it was in, how close to the beach it was, all the deer in the neighborhood, and the hot tub.

Perfect getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for our family of 5. We loved how it felt remote / in the woods....we took some really nice walks and made the most of the campfire. Would highly recommend and would like to come back in the future!

Great house with plenty of dishes, glassware, pots and pans for cooking. Very clean. Walk to coffee shop, close drive to town for restaurants and shopping, beautiful hiking. We loved the fire pit and grill. Only issue was the WiFi was spotty when trying to watch TV. Otherwise, perfect weekend.

Beautiful setting

This house is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We saw lots of deer and enjoyed the firepit as well as the other amenities of the house. It was very clean and well furnished.

Good location

Went to Holland for the tulip festival. This was a good location and good house. Close to beach. Nice hot tub. Would like more extension cords in master but otherwise enjoyed this property.

Amazing location! Truly can not beat it! Great spacious house with lovely amenities. Within a 15 minute drive from 2 beaches and great restaurants.

House was clean and the deck and hot tub were great. Only negative was there was no door on the master bathroom which is a bit awkward, but otherwise it was a great place.

Beautiful stay

The property was exactly as described on a quiet cul-de-sac. It was very peaceful and we loved seeing the deer everyday. The house itself was very comfortable and the right size for our family. The only thing missing were the bicycles shown in the one picture. However, we would definitely stay here again since it was close to restaurants, shops, and downtown Saugatuck, Douglas, and Oval Beach.

Beautiful Relaxing Getaway

This home was amazing! Close to downtown and the beach but secluded and relaxing. We enjoyed the wildlife while relaxing on the back deck and in the hot tub. The house was stocked with everything you would need. We absolutely loved it and will be back! Thank you for a great place for making memories!

Great for a girls trip getaway

House is great, and the property and yard are lovely in a prime location. Only minor issue was connecting with property management on an issue with the WiFi- it took a while to get a hold of the owner to confirm outages and location of actual router to reset.

Beautiful home and yard

This is a lovely large home that was a wonderful spot for our family vacation. The rooms were large and having 3 bathrooms was helpful. We did have issues with the hot tub not working but Vacasa had someone come out and fix it the next day. One of the bikes had a flat tire. The house was not very clean when we arrived. So overall the home was comfortable and in a great location but it just needs better maintenance.

Cable and internet did not work

The house is pretty. The outside seating is nice. The location is convenient. I would not recommend house until owner and management work our issues with providing cable and internet service. The service was out and we did all trouble shooting tips before reporting. We then reported and waited for a technician. The technician said it was not the equipment but a matter of the bill not being paid. He thought it would be resolved. We called back each day, but it was not resolved during our stay. We went the whole time without being able to watch tv or use the internet. A small % credit was given, but as we told Vacasa we just wanted the problem resolved. We rented this house to have a change of scenery during the pandemic. Cellular phone service is not the best in the area so relying on our phones for menus, directions etc was an inconvenience. Our last day was a rainy day so our only options were to read or nap and that was difficult with construction at the house next door. Also forms For a new patio were being set up on this house while we were there and we were not informed that this would be happening. That did not seem right. The house has a lot of potential , but I would confirm that issues have been resolved before renting.

We really enjoyed the backyard firepit. We saw wild turkeys, deer, squirrels, chipmunks. It was so relaxing. And the house is beautiful, and well laid out. We had a group of 4 teens, and there was room in the upstairs suite for a couple air mattresses so they could all be together. We will be back!
