"La Pecera de Leti" ubicada en Palenque Costa Arriba Colón en Panamá, es una casa de playa frente al mar Caribe con una terraza que rodea la casa a 12 metros de la playa con un muro de 1.5 metro de altura. La villa de techo de paja (tatched) incluye 4 dormitorios con dos baños completos y una ducha exterior que acomoda a 10 personas. La casa de 2 pisos incluye en el primer piso: cocina abierta, comedor, salita de estar con TV por cable, externalización para conectar su música, juegos de mesa de entretenimiento, 1 baño completo y un medio baño en el jardín. En el segundo piso incluye 4 dormitorios con A/A, ventiladores opcionales. La habitación principal com cama Queen, 1 habitacion con cama doble, 1 con dos camas twin y la 4ta habitación con 5 camas twin. Tiene un baño completo en el segundo piso. La casa fue construida hace treinta y dos años con el apoyo de originarios y reconstruida en el año 2016. Dentro de ella te sientes navegando en un crucero. Esta exclusiva y exótica propiedad está a la orilla de las dos playas que la rodean y además cuenta con 5 hectáreas de bosque primario donde los dueños conservan su hábitat natural con arboles endémicos del área, donde habitan los monos aulladores, titis, perezosos entre otros, ademas de especies de aves que incluyen tucanes, loros, pericos en la temporada de las uvas del caribe entre otros. Hay un sendero privado para visitar durante su estadia. Durante marzo-abril y septiembre-octubre son épocas para observar las miles de aves que emigran de sur a norte y de norte a sur.

Panamá es mundialmente conocido como "Puente del Mundo, Corazón del Universo! debido a su excelente ubicación y único país del mundo donde puedes manejar desde el Pacífico hasta el Océano Atlántico (Caribe) en solo una hora.
Palenque es un paraíso ubicado en el Caribe, Costa Arriba de Colón a 2 horas y 15 minutos desde la ciudad de Panamá pasando por el Parque Nacional de Portobello o en helicoptero a 25 Mts de la ciudad. En el pueblo de Palenque situado a 1. 9 kilómetros se puede encontrar lo básico.
La paz de Palenque le ofrece días para tomar el sol, nadar en las 2 playas rodeadas de arrecifes que la convierte en una piscina natural. Hacer cayacs, bucear, pescar, hacer ejercicio, observar animales y aves en el bosque, leer, escuchar música, jugar cartas, cricket, futball o tirar bolas de golf, entre otras actividades. Disfrutar y relajarse en las hamacas que están esperando para sentir y escuchar el sonido del mar. Ser testigo de increíbles amaneceres y puestas de sol, a veces disfrutar de la lluvia tropical y minutos después de que el sol brilla de nuevo!

La mejor temporada? De mediados de marzo a enero. Entre Mayo y mediados de Diciembre el mar es muy cálido. Durante estos meses disfrutará de aguas cristalinas, mar en calma y podrá disfrutar por las noches con baños de luna y estrellas. Debido a la posición geográfica de Panamá, no hay huracanes. Cuando en las islas del caribe son azotados el vórtice aleja los vientos de nuestras costas y nuestras playas gozan de mucha calma. Entre Agosto y Noviembre pueden navegar a alguna de las 365 islas de Kuna Yala (San Blas). También podrá alquilar un día para una experiencia de pesca cerca de la zona de Palenque. El cargo será cobrado por el panguero posterior al paseo.
Se puede visitar Zona Libre de Colón para comprar las marcas más sorprendentes sobre los precios baratos, a sólo una hora y media en coche de Palenque al regreso a la ciudad. Si su visita coincide con Fiestas Especiales
   - La celebración del Cristo Negro: Cada 21 de octubre personas de las zonas costeras celebran la famosa festividad del Cristo Negro en la que miles de personas caminan desde Panama ciudad y ofrecen sacrificios a este Cristo agradecidos por bendiciones recibidas.
O con el Encuentro de Diablos. Durante marzo o abril el Encuentro del Diablos está en Portobello se celebra en más de 400 personas con vestidos originarios de diablos rojos y negros que compiten por premios para las mejores costumbres.
Llegada y Salida a la propiedad:
Recomendamos viajar de dia desde Panama. En el camino, sugerimos haber una parada en Portobello para visitar las Ruinas Históricas de Portobello, la Iglesia del Cristo Negro, la Galería Congo y comprar la típica y deliciosas cocadas! Si desean almorzar en Portobelo les sugeriremos un buen restaurante. En el último día del viaje de vuelta debe ser a mas tardar 3:00 pm para evitar la noche o AM para visitar Zona Libre de Colón.

    This was an incredible stay with so many lovely preparation of meals from Lucy and Jose. They were helpful and so thoughtful. We rested, relaxed, and spent leisurely days being together as a family. If only this happened more often! What a great trip. I am sad it ended so soon. Thank you to a wonderful host, Leticia, who went above and beyond helpful.

    Enjoyable stay

    We really nice time! We were a family of 10. Getting the meals is a must, excellent, well cooked food from scratch by Mary Carmen. Lovely setting a great place to unplug and relax. We went to Portobelo for the day and had a boat tour, we really enjoyed that as well. Communication with the owner was great.

    Exceeded Expectations!

    Leticia and the house staff thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable! Some of the things we liked best -- The air conditioning in the rooms was so nice at night...having all our meals prepared (recommend this!)...games (like croquet!) and water things to enjoy the ground...seeing monkeys/sloths!...the hammocks and cushioned chairs...listening to the waves all day!! While in Panama - also recommend visiting San Blas islands. We can't wait to visit Panama again!

    Amazing stay

    The one and only problem with our trip was we only booked the stay for 5 nights! We were concerned that our parents would have trouble getting around the property so we shortened the stay. Mistake! They have set this place up for just about anyone! The staff is amazing as we wanted for nothing the entire trip…like staying at a 5 Star resort and getting a butler. Food was amazing and staff was perfect! Could not ask for better views or clearer water. Thank you Leticia and Hernan for having such a beautiful place! My wife and I will be back and look forward to seeing your other properties!

    Leti's Fish Bowl

    I spend a weekend in this house and I had a great time. This property is beautiful and located in a natural paradise in front of the ocean. The house is very well designed and decorated and there is a nice breeze all around so t never feels hot. The rooms are very comfortable and the local food was delicious. It' is dream place for children of all ages to discover all kinds of water activities and walk in nature. You will have a fantastic vacation in this beach house. Fiona. New York.NY

    AMAZING VACATION

    AMAZING TIME.... THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT THE OCEAN CLEAR AND BEAUTIFULL... A LOT OF FISH, WE WERE IN THE OCEAN UNTIL MIDNIGHT. THE KIDS AND US WERE ABLE TO DO KAYAKING, EXPLORE THE REEF UNDER WATER AND WALKING. THE SUNSET ON SEPT 3ER WAS PRICELESS... WE WERE 4 MOM WITH AVERAGE OF 3 KIDS EACH... WE WERE ABLE TO BUY OCTOPUS FROM THE PEOPLE OF THE TOWN THAT WALK BY AND THE HOUSE GIRL MAKE A AMAZING OCTOPUS WITH COCONUT RISE.

    A must stay! Gorgeous view! Sparkling gem with great attention to detail on grounds and inside.

    I could rave about this property all day! The grounds are beautiful with two sets of shaded loungers with cushions and several other outdoor chairs, benches and two large table and chairs for dining outside. Ocean toys and rafts. Tiled outdoor shower in the shape of a snail. Beautiful tile and accents of shells on the downstairs floors and porches throughout. The grounds are carefully tended and have flowers and a beautiful stand of grass over the entire property. Swallows fly over the grass in the mornings catching bugs and at night there is a huge spotlight for watching waves. We took a flashlight and peered into the waters and saw lobster and fish at night. The house was built in 1979 and refurbished in 2016 and it is just as beautiful inside as out. The house is filled with several comfortable places to sit about and a large table that can seat 10 with a splendid view over the water. Kitchen and pantry with anything you could ever need. Bedrooms are fresh, cheery and all have air conditioning. Tomas and his wife took great care of us and also prepared our meals when we wanted.

    We love your enjoying our property. We try to please as much as we can, keep the property including the beach very clean and we really appreciate when people have good time. Palenque is a very secluded spot and if you want to rest and live with nature, this is the place. As you said: The ocean, the green and hope you had the oportunity to see and or hear the howler monkies in the backyard... From late march to May and from September to early November you can see and feel the inmigration of birds and butterflies that passes all around the house.     Wish I could give it TEN stars

    Five stars just does not do this place justice. If you’re looking for a beach and ocean vacation off the beaten path (it is quite and adventure of a drive from Panama City but worth every minute once you get there) for family or a group, then this is the place! Our family, total of 6 adults, spent 10 days in this amazing location and rarely wanted to leave. While there is not much around the place, we didn’t want for anything. From the ease of communicating with Leticia, to the wonderful service from Mary Carmen, Darya and Anel who live on the property and are there for anything you need, even anticipating things before we even knew we wanted them. Having them cook meals for you is a must since the food was delicious and who doesn’t want to just enjoy your holiday and not worry about meals. Food just magically appears every meal time with a different unique place setting each time. The wood fire pizza, huge hamburgers, local Panama cuisine, fish and an unforgettable 20lb turkey perfectly cooked for our Christmas meal. The only disappointment we had was leaving this beautiful setting. Leticia arranged a couple of day tours to Isla Grande, Portobello and a driver to take us around since most things are an hour or two away. If you want to relax listening to the waves and hanging out in a hammock feeling cool ocean breezes to cool you and refreshing in outdoor shower after playing in the ocean or being in the sun all day. We even had a masseuse come to the home and six of us enjoyed massages outside under the big tree wirh the ocean sounds. There was too many good things to write about for our Christmas 2022 vacation. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many destination locations but this one ranks up there and we will definitely be coming back again. Thanks to Leticia and her team for an amazing time in paradise!

    Something Wonderful in the Air

    My wife and I, our 4 kids (4-9), as well as their grandmother, all traveled to Palenque and stayed at the home of Leticia and Hernan. We have traveled to many countries across the Caribbean and in Central America, but this was our first trip to Panama. Communication with Leticia leading up to the stay was fantastic. We had an unexpected family emergency come up days before our trip, and they were very accommodating to our needs. More than they had to be in my opinion, and for that we will always consider them to be our friends in Panama. Our children cried after having to leave our new friends. As for the property, it met and exceeded all of our expectations. It is lovely, and very peaceful. No noise of traffic, no interruptions, just the sound of the waves, and an occasional howling monkey to joyfully wake us in the morning. The home is situated perfectly on the lot, taking in views in three directions that are breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. For a family with young children, the water depth is a big plus. Plenty of areas for the kids to play in the water safely. My wife and I enjoyed the opportunity to walk and run on the property and incorporate our fitness routines into the stay. The staff all did a great job. Dayra, Sere, and Abel were very helpful in the home. Fantastic meals, cleanliness, laundry, and most importantly for us their patience with young children. It was fun to see them share in the joy of our son catching his first fish on his own with no help from Dad, as well as many other fun memories that we will always cherish. Yuzed assisted us with driving and seeing the real Panama. I appreciated his attention to safety for the kids, and for his patience in understanding my broken Spanish. He took us to places that I would have never expected to see on a tour offered by an agency. We loved that. As with Leticia and Hernan, we will always consider all of the staff to be our friends in Panama. Their culture is fantastic. There truly is something wonderful in the air. We found them to be joyful and patient, having faith in everything coming together as expected. On our first day at lunch we saw a sign that said "The Art of Slow" hanging above a bar. How true indeed. A nice change of pace for us, and a message we took away and will not forget. Thank you to Leticia and Hernan and to all of their staff for making our vacation to Palenque one we will always remember with affection. God Bless you all.

    Unique location, pampered service

    The property is an absolute gem for those looking for total relaxation. The house sits ten steps from a tranquil ocean cove (actually, two separate coves). The calm lagoon, protected from winds by an outer reef, is excellent for snorkelling, with good opportunities for close-up encounters with fascinating marine creatures. Night snorkelling is simply outstanding. A good walking trail is just behind the house; monkeys and macaws visit nearby trees daily. The villa staff lives in a small house nearby. And they are amazing people. They never disturb you when you want your privacy but magically appear when you need help. I would highly suggest everyone pre-order a meal service: it is delicious, plentiful, and nicely served. The owners, Leticia and Hernan, are a delight to communicate with, giving you a feel of being almost a member of a family. I will highly recommend this one-of-a-kind place without any hesitation.

    Séjour magnifique dans un cadre idyllique et une maison superbe et agreable

    Magnifique endroit au panama loin de tout...!un petit paradis sauvage et très vert au bord de l’ocean . La maison le jardin la plage tout est superbe ! Un endroit rempli d’oiseaux aussi !Nous avons été accueillis par Thomas et bernarda qui sont adorables et nous ont préparé des repas extraordinaires pendant 1 semaine et ont été très disponibles et tellement serviables ! C est un endroit idéal pour passer des vacances en famille . Tout est prévu pour les enfants également ( jouets / piscine ...) et la maison est très jolie . Nous aimons beaucoup le panama un pays que nous retrouvons et découvrons chaque année depuis 4 ans avec plaisir . Beaucoup à visiter à découvrir au panama : la forêt /les îles ( San blas ) / Panama City/las perlas /.... Mais surtout merci à Leticia la propriétaire tellement gentille et sympathique qui a tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible .Thanks leticia for everything ! It was amazing!

    Amazing! This place is paradise!

    Everything was picture perfect! We loved everything about it... Highly recommended to anybody looking to bond with nature in a very confortable atmosphere and, at the same time, have peace of mind in a secluded piece of paradise! Its a magical place!

    GREAT TIME!

    THE BEST! This means we had a great time, the sun was delicious, the property clean and beautiful, the ocean breeze, the water... the sunsets, the housekeepers very nice people, respectful and proper couple. This is really a hide away!!

    Absolutely Ideal!

    We spent an incredibly wonderful long weekend here! My husband's friend from high school had been here before and planned a couple's trip so that we could all relax and enjoy private beach time with friends and family. Each of us went with our young sons (all basically 2 years old) and this location was perfect. The bay is calm, the breeze is so refreshing. Great for children as there is so much space -- for building sand castles, running around, kicking a beach ball, playing with hoses, etc. What was so great as well was that although we were 3 couples with young children, we never felt crowded -- we could either all hang out as a group or go off exploring separately. The kitchen is open and easy to manoeuvre -- it was an absolute delight to cook with the wood burning barbecue. The staff (Berna and Tomás) were so helpful! Will definitely go back! Thanks!

    Awesome Place!

    Amazing experience with the caribbean beach all for yourself! Kids will love it. Great for snorkling, walking on reefs, or just watching the view. A Paradise very close to Panama City. Support is great with a lovely couple who helps with the overall cleaning and services. Cant wait to get back!

    Memorables vacaciones

    Estuvimos en esta cabaña por casi una semana y nos encantó el lugar. Nos tocó una época de mar de leva con mucho viento y olas (estuvimos a principios de enero), así que el mar no estaba tan calmado como en las fotos y sólo pudimos meternos al mar los últimos dos días. Sin embargo estuvimos felices, la casa está rodeada de mar y ofrece espacios muy agradables interiores y exteriores para pasar el día y disfrutar del bellísimo paisaje. No tiene playas porque son acantilados y rocas, el acceso al mar es por escaleras como en una piscina y alrededor hay un pasto muy bien cuidado que rodea la casa donde pudimos dedicarnos a la contemplación, la lectura y el descanso, además en total privacidad! La casa es rústica pero cómoda para dos y hasta tres familias (con niños pequeños o parejas solas). Cuenta con todo lo necesario para cocinar, juegos y entretenimiento y música. Los dos baños son compartidos para todos los cuartos. También estuvimos atendidos por una pareja muy atenta que nos ayudó a cocinar y estuvo pendiente de la limpieza. En nuestro caso alquilamos carro en Panamá y aunque nos recomendaron 4X4, un automovil pequeño puede acceder sin ningún problema. En conclusión totalmente recomendada! Además los propietarios son muy amables, de fácil contacto y están pendientes todo el tiempo de que todo esté perfectamente bien. Nosotros regresaríamos felices en nuestro próximo viaje a Panamá.

    Quedamos fascinados, no salimos del mar, la atención de primera, sinceramente estamos planeando volver compartimos como nunca entre familiares y amigos. 1000 por ciento la recomiendo.

    AWESOME !

    There is a saying in Panama 'Mejor se daña', which means it could not possibly be better. We (10 people including 4 kids) stayed at Leti's place in March of this year. From the very beginning everything was perfect - the view, the mist, the house, the natural beach pools and most of all, the couple that takes care of the house. The house is beautiful, well arranged, and very relaxing. You can literally sit in a rocking chair watching the waves break right by the house, for hours. There is plenty to do - kayak, take walks, swim, etc etc etc. Only thing you need is time to relax. I highly recommend this place. Leti was extremely helpful making us feel we had everything we needed. We want to come back soon !

    Paradise

    I consider myself a permanent guest. I have come back many times. It is so beautiful. It is one of my favorite places I have ever been. The days are amazing soaking and playing in the crystal clear Caribbean water. The nights are amazing listening to nature and the sound of the surf. Its location is fantastic, so close to San Blas islands. The staff make your stay unforgettable and dealing with the owners is a treat. Enjoy!

    Palenque Letis Fish Bowl

    We had an excellent week and iur kids had a lot of fun snorkeling and fishing. The house and rooms very comfortable and clean. The service very good. We are planning on coming back soon!

    Paradise Perfection

    This was the absolutely most amazing best vacation I've had. My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend at this beautiful house with perfect beaches and privacy. The staff at this establishment was polite and the food was exquisite. Thank you guys for a wonderful time. We will do it again

    Hace 42 años nos enamoramos de esta propiedad frente al mar, en verdad una piscina rodeada de arrecifes naturales totalmente privada y aquí nos quedamos cada fin de semana que podíamos debido a nuestro trabajo en la ciudad. Nos fascina el mar Caribe tibio, un área sin huracanes, un bosque natural detrás de la casa conservado por nosotros donde abundan especies de aves, monos, iguanas y muchos más.
