Relax and enjoy Oahu’s beautiful West side, with its laid-back vibe and the sparkling, turquoise Pacific Ocean just down the hill. Fantastic, uncrowded beaches await just a few minutes away. The ocean and mountain views from the lanai are spectacular. Perfect at sunset or any time of day.

Our studio unit is bright and cheery with a comfortable queen bed and a full kitchen with ample cooking tools and utensils. Stainless steel fridge and glass-top range. Comfortable sofa. Great step-in shower with unlimited hot water.

The grounds offer a soothing landscape, leading to a pristine salt-water pool.

Free parking, cable TV, fast wifi and central air. 24/7 in-house security. Six gas grills and picnic tables near the pool. Same-floor laundry room.

Perfect for singles, couples, retirees, traveling nurses, remote workers.

30-day minimum rental.

Use for any commercial purposes, photography, video or social media of any kind is prohibited.

No third-party bookings. Guests only.

We must have the legal names of both guests at least seven (7) days before your arrival. First and last names as they appear on your ID, either drivers license or passport, etc.

Both guests must be at least 25 years old.

Guests must rent a vehicle. No Uber/Lyft etc. or cabs. No walk-ins. No borrowing vehicles.

Our unit is not suitable for babies or children.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. or thereafter on the date of arrival.

A little disappointed

The property was marketed as a 1 bedroom but turned out to be a studio. There was very little comfortable furniture to sit on and a very small table to eat at. The general area was not as appealing as other places we have stayed at in Hawaii. Some of the beaches had homeless tents and the general area was more run down that other places we have stayed at. They had very tight security due to the general safety in the area. The complex was nice but isolated as there were few places to eat at and the golf course down the street was not in good condition. If you want a quiet getaway it is nice except for the peacocks and the chickens which could keep you up. Overall, the place was very small even for two people and due to the security concerns not a place we would come back to.

Joe was fantastic about communicating with us! The view was great. Everyone kept telling us how far away it was but we loved it as we are not city people. Would absolutely recommend it if you want outside the city!

Great Place

Very clean! As advertised. Joe was a great host and great communicator. The water pressure was great in the shower. The complex was clean and well managed. We loved it. Highly recommend Joe as well as the unit! Great beaches close by. Thanks Joe!

Nice for a quick trip

Owner and suite lovely. Suiye has pretty much all you need and killer view as its right on the end, ocean side.Considering its in a remote area, you would think its quiet and peaceful. Lots of traffic, busses, residents of the building leaving around 5am blasting over the speedbumps. The area is not close to anything to walk. So a short stay at the price parkimg os okblastingoover speedbumps.

Makaha Valley Towers

We loved staying at this condo. If was far enough away from the bustle of Waikiki but still close that we could venture off for the day The condo was great! Clean and had everything you needed. The view was amazing!!!! Joe was awesome and very very informative on the areas and beaches and was very quick to response with any situation! Thank you!!

If you want a seamless booking, this is NOT THE PLACE for you. The listing does NOT include the parking and extra fees you have to pay like cash deposit, and damage insurance fee. Also, the owner will spam you with so many messages instead of consolidating instructions. It doesnt help that this booking is nonrefundable.

Wonderful oasis

Everything you need to have a comfortable getaway!! This was the perfect location for us to rest after a long day exploring the island. Amazing sunrises and sunsets from the balcony, set against a dramatic mountain + ocean view. Host was very thorough and provided many great recommendations for the area. Thank you so much!!

Makaha Studio Condo

We had events planned on the west side of the Island of Oahu so we decided to stay in Makaha and were very pleased to find this studio property. It was perfect for the two of us. Great ocean and mountain views from the room. A convenient little kitchen to make meals. The host supplied plenty of towels and linens as well as the laundry detergent for the washer and dryer which were located down the hall.The property staff and security were very polite and accomodating. Nice pool area too. Overall we had a very relaxing stay. Mahalo Joe

Great condo. Nice bathroom and kitchen remodels to an older property have kept this unit up to date! Joe gave a lot of helpful information about the condo, do's, don't's and the island in general!!! Clean, comfy, and great views. Wonderful jumping off point to a fun Oahu experience! Thanks Joe!

Love the place

We were two people staying at the apartment. Joe is a wonderful host and has lovely tips & tricks handy. We would recommend Joes place, because of the stunning ocean view. You can view the sunset while eating on the balcony!

Great condo in a non-touristy area!

This condo has a stunning view of both the mountains and ocean, and the grounds are both safe (gated with 24-hour security) and beautiful. (If you’ve never seen peacocks up close, you’re in for a treat!) The unit is clean, well-maintained (with a beautiful new shower), and amply stocked with towels, dishes, and other amenities. It’s on the small side but perfect for one or two people. The bed and bedding were comfortable. But the highlight is the patio set on the balcony, because that’s where you’ll want to relax when you’re not out enjoying the island. This end of the island is very non-touristy and locals-only, so there are not a lot of restaurants or attractions. But the beaches are gorgeous and free of crowds, and the people could not be friendlier. The host was on-top of communications at all times and very easy to work with. He provided very detailed info about places to eat, local attractions, navigating this part of the island, visitor information in general, and even updates on local road construction. I’ve stayed at lots of rentals, and I’ve never gotten that level of information. Plus his restaurant and bar recommendations were spot-on! I would be happy to stay here again.

Stunning views and location

Absolutely loved the location and views. Everything we needed and the most beautiful west side views. If you want tourist spots, picn elsewhere. But as for more local vibes and absolute beautiful sunsets and beach access. Peacocks everywhere, which are gorgeous but noisy. Sound a like cats crying, it didn't bother us but someone who is a light sleeper might not love this. Lastly the cleaniness of the place left some room for improvement, bedding was dirty and we had to wash all dishes and silverware before using. I feel like this might have been just an oversight, but overall we loved our stay and would stay again. I just hope a little more attention to the cleanliness in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Honestly loved the place.
