We were quite pleased with the cottage. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and the property was well kept. It was a perfect setting for family fun!!

This location was wonderful and conveniently located to the beach. I came to "beach" and that's what we did. They supplied everything you needed including towels, boogie boards, chairs, and a sturdy wagon to bring everything with you! They also had a clothes line to dry your clothes. While the appliances are dated, they worked fine. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The AC was great! There was an outdoor shower, but it isn't private. We were able to easily relax and reset! We had a great time!

Fairhaven visit

Beautiful little cottage! Highly recommend this place to stay. Beautiful views and close to everything! The hosts were a delight to work with.

Great location across from the beach. Public path to the beach was a short walk. The shed had a beach wagon to load chairs, etc. Plenty of seating inside and out. Has a firepit but we didn't have time to use it. The A/C kept the cottage really cool. Kitchen was fully stocked.Many good restaurants in the area. We recommend Bocca, Off-the Hook, Fathoms, Sweet Ginger, Sail-House Tavern, Mike's, Cisco Kitchen & Bar (New Bedford on the water with outside seating and a bandstand - great music the night we were there.) Another outside place with a good band was Seaport.From New Bedford, a short drive away, I recommend taking the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.The cottage location is close to Stop & Shop grocery store and some other local shopping. For the ladies, I recommend a cute gift shop called Periwinkles.The cottage has a good amount of space except for the very tiny bathroom. But it was adequate for the short time we stayed.I would recommend the cottage.

It was very kid friendly, with lots of toys and games to play with! We also loved the beach area and how close it was to the house!It may be time to get new mattresses! They were very uncomfortable!Overall, we enjoyed our stay!!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with beautiful ocean views and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The house was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms made it easy for my family to feel at home. The beach was just a short walk away, and having access to all the beach gear was a huge plus!The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Whether you’re looking to relax by the beach or explore nearby attractions, this house is the ideal place to unwind and create unforgettable memories. We'll definitely be back!

The cottage is very nicely decorated. We had difficulty with the queen size bed, it’s in a VERY narrow space so not easy to maneuver. Just a note that the bathroom is very small. No room to put your things. Otherwise it worked for our trip.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit and the house was very good for us. The house was clean. The yard was large,nice fire pit,the bay was right across the street. It was quiet (we only go off season). I explored Newport (45 min. drive) for 1 day and ate at the Red Parrot & visited the Breakers. Also explored New Bedford, the Whaling Museum and loved the harbor tour learning the history of the fishing industry. Lunch at the Black Whale was great. The salt marsh and beach at West Island was amazing and nearly deserted the first week of Oct. Anniversary dinner at Boca-very good. Kyler's fish market was the BEST and hubby cooked 2 wonderful meals. A fun dive bar, Bayside, was nearby and had good food and great local scene, we watched a Sox's v. Yankees game (we didn't say we were from NY!) Overall, we visit the Cape nearly every Oct, but had never visited Buzzard Bay, Fairhaven or New Bedford. We loved it. Can't wait to return and would rent this house again.

Great place for our family of four. Was looking for something that accommodated us, close to local attractions, and was close to the beach. Ideal spot and really nice place. Super nice owners that communicated with us and provided feedback. Would recommend to others.

A cute little cottage That was perfect for a long weekend. Beach access was a few houses down a wonderful location for morning and evening strolls looking for treasures. A good location for exploring coastal drives both to the east and west. We had pleasant meals at both SoCo & and Bocca. The bathroom was a little tiny, but other than that it fit our needs wonderfully. The host was also very communicative. We did not have any questions as she had answered them all.
