The host was so helpful and has great communication throughout. The location is PERFECT. Close to many train stations, close to conbini and Donki. It fit the four of us perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Shinjuku. Thank you so much!!!

Perfect location. Great host, cozy place for a party of two. The only downside is that there are only stairs. If you have a large or multiple luggages, it's a little cardio.

My son and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home, right in the heart of Shinjuku/Okubo. Very close to the Chuo and Yamanote lines. The host was very kind and responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Central location

Great place to stay for your time in this area. Its centrally located down a cute alleyway. And public transportation is within a 5min walk. Spacious apartment.

Super stay at the heart of Tokyo

The apartment is located at a very convenient location in Okubo, Sinjuku, walking distance to 4 different train stations, depending where I want to go. The interier is pleasantly planned and maintained. Super friendly host. The rooms are both spacious, very nice choice for a family of 4-5.

Good for a short stay

It had room for all 5 of us. The only caveat was that the living room doesn't have an AC, so whoever was sleeping there relied on having the bedroom doors open so that the AC could heat all the house.

Awesome location

For three adults this place was roomy and we really enjoyed having a living room area, which is not standard in a lot of units in Tokyo. The unit is on a quiet narrow street, but just a block from a very vibrant neighborhood that has food at all hours. Easy to walk to multiple metro stations as well, I would stay here again.

Home for two weeks

The property was cleaned very well except it could have been better maintained in some areas. The property was in a decent area of town except some of the nearby red light district areas brought some noise from people drinking nearby and cars. Also wish there was a dryer along with the washer that only dehydrates. Overall it was well suited for our stay and wouldn’t mind booking another time here.

Great apartment on a perfect location

Nice apartment with enough space. Only problem was you can’t open a window in the second bedroom. So no fresh air. The rest was perfect.

I liked this place a lot. Good value

I have really nothing but good to say about this place. It was "big" compared to other properties we looked at but still quite cozy. It was very clean and obviously well kept. Washer was a big plus (hang clothes to dry on the "balcony." We had a day when the hot water went out but it was promptly fixed. Kitchen had some but not a lot of cooking stuff (we didn't cook) but was noticeably missing kitchen knives and didn't have many other utensils. But other than having to cut oranges with a butter knife this did not affect us. Only bath towels and one single washcloth were supplied. We bought some washcloths at the local Don Quixote and left them so hopefully they will be added to the collection. Host was also willing to accommodate our need to store the luggage until we had to leave for the airport. Forever thankful for that. Subway stations are very close by. Neighborhood is exciting with lots of stuff going on. Two minuses that are not game changers, but something for future renters to know: it is a third-floor walk-up and the alley/street the place is on was too narrow for the small van Uber to fit down (why only 4 stars for location) and we had to hand carry our luggage about 50 yards to the apartment (and then up the stairs). When we left we just rolled our luggage to a busier street to meet the Uber. Super Honorable Mention to the host's cleaning guy who didn't have to help us carry our (very heavy) luggage down the stairs when we left, but did. Forever my hero!
