Nice front yard with private dock…Queen bed in 1st floor bedroom w/full bathroom & Queen bed in 2nd floor bedroom w/full bathroom… Fully stocked kitchen for your gourmet meals. Gas grill… 4 Kayaks…Close proximity to the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Ky, and the Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, Ky, and also an hour away from the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky…Fish on the private dock, relax in the hot tub, or sit by the fire pit and unwind…SWIMMING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE LAKE… Please contact owner for swimming options!!!

The pictures don’t it it justice. This place is absolutely amazing. Definitely exceeded any expectations I had before we arrived. The hot tub was a plus and was super clean. It was the perfect getaway! Neighborhood was quiet and private. I would highly recommend this property to everyone!!!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is absolutely clean & beautiful! We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, the hot tub & relaxing with family. The cabin is very close to the Ark Encounter which we enjoyed immensely one day. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay & the host was a great communicator.

Enjoyed our stay. There were two things that weren’t ideal. 1)The location was a bit of a challenge but did appreciate the seclusion once we got to the location 2) The noise from the interstate traffic did seem a bit much when outside in the evening but didn’t seem to bother when we were on the inside.

Family fun

We had a great time at the cabin, the peacefulness and serenity of the lake. The cabin is super cute and clean with an awesome deck to watch beautiful sunsets from. We appreciated that each bedroom has a bathroom, as we are two married couples, in our 50’s and 70’s. It was perfect for us. The kayaks were an added bonus. It is very convenient to the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, antiquing, as well as Cincinnati. The best food in a cool setting was at Ford’s Garage in/near Cincinnati.

We had a great time in Kentucky. Went to the Ark Exhibit and Creation Museum. Also visited our granddaughter and her hubby. Property was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. 10 minutes to Ark. 45 minutes to Creation. 25 minutes to Lexington.

The cabin was wonderful. Our husbands loved fishing off the dock.We loved the grill and the hot tub, although we turned it down a bit. As hot as it has been we didn't need it set so high. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Had plenty of linens and wonderful decor. There was one craçked glass in the cupboard. When we pulled it out to use ,there was a huge crack in it so I didn't want to just put it back and someone get cut on it, so I left it on the counter. The pillows could be better, and I would suggest a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or a bathrobe. The neighborhood coming in is a bit sketchy but overall , a great place and I would recommend.

Great getaway

Met the owners as we arived to the property early and they were very gracious. The cabin is immaculate. Its close enough to attractions but secluded enough to just relax. Will be booking again.

Short visit to Kentucky

This cabin is new and well done. The porch view of the lake was nice if you dont mind highway noise. Quiet inside though. If you visit in warmer weather, bring a fishing pole. Perfect place to land if you're doing the Ark Encounter.

Wonderful Escape

We arrived to the cabin, walked in, and were in awe of how beautiful it was! Super clean, cozy, and tons of little extras we didn’t expect. The lake behind the cabin and the hot tub on the deck were definitely a plus 🙂. PERFECT if you are visiting the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, or seeing the beautiful, rolling fields full of horses! Highly recommend!

Beautiful!

My husband and I booked a long weekend here for our honeymoon and it was perfect!! Our host was very helpful, friendly and quick to respond. The cabin was beautiful and very nice quality. The views were amazing as well! The only things that we didn’t love was that there is a highway across the lake that you can hear clearly if you’re outside trying to relax, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. But those things weren’t enough to really alter our trip at all. We had an amazing time and will definitely be booking again if we come back to Kentucky!

Cabin on the lake

Great place to stay, communication with the owner was very good, she responded immediately in a positive manner. The problem was handled promptly and fully. The only complaint we had was that there were no chairs in the bedrooms. Other than that, it was great.

The Ark

Beautiful cabin on the lake! Very clean and host was very helpful with finding it. Our GPS took us to the wrong destination and host stayed on the phone and gave us step by step directions! Beds were a little hard to get in. Maybe need to add a step stool and mattress was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Could be that we are use to a king and it was at the best a full/queen? All in all we have a nice relaxing stay at the cabin!
