**March 2025 UPDATE** : NEW SHOWER COMPLETED! We had hurricane damage a few months ago and we have new flooring throughout, as well as a beautiful new tile shower in the primary bathroom. Thank you hurricane! 🌀

2 bedroom lake house just steps to the water, complete with a private dock and plenty of outdoor seating. Flat top grill for lakeside barbeques & fire pit. Pure magic!

One level home with a larger bedroom and en suite bathroom offering 2 queen beds. The 2nd bedroom is small and private with 1 queen bed. Extra sleeping space offered in the sunroom futon. 2 full bathrooms. Small dining room table. Fully equipped kitchen. Living room and extra sunroom with water view! Large covered porch with a sink out back, Perfect for the whole family!
Outdoor living space is just perfect for relaxing and swimming and fishing!

Perfect getaway

I was very pleased with the lake house. Very clean and cozy. The house came equipped with everything. Check in was very easy and hThe host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend the lake house.

Docktails is Wonderful!

Docktails exceeded our expectations! Beautiful view from the back 'porch' area and quiet neighborhood. The house is well stocked and clean. We plan to come back to Lake Waccamaw and will MOST CERTAINLY stay at Docktails when we do. Wonderful vacation spot!

Great first trip to the Lake!

This is a very clean classic lake cottage. The outdoor patio space is wonderful. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat. House was well stocked. The only reason I gave a 3 for listing accuracy is that the second shower was being Remodeled unexpectedly after two major storms, and that was not communicated until after I rented. I feel the listing should have reflected that because I would not have rented a house with one shower. The owners were great to work with and communicated well We were watching Helene but she did thwart our trip. to

The property is spacious and it is just as our host said it would be. The serenity of the lake and the quiet neighborhood lead to a very peaceful time that my wife and I have needed for a long time. Thank you very much 😊

Quiet and peaceful

This vacation rental was as advertised. Very neat and clean, well stocked with all the creature comforts, quiet and peaceful neighborhood for a nice evening walk, as well as amazing waterfront area. We cant imagine staying anywhere else when returning to lake waccamaw.

Family weekend

Such a nice, easy stay! Clean and stocked with thoughtful extras. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful lake and a laid back atmosphere. Owners responded quickly to messages. Recommend!

Great Experience and Excellent Accomodations

This property is a phenomenal property that appears small but actually has a lot of space, especially since the weather was good and we could utilize the outdoor areas. The place is super clean and offered everything needed for our stay. The outdoor areas are the big sell for this property and a great place to sit and socialize and relax to enjoy the lake. The hosts are super responsive and answered questions we had almost immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone to stay!

Family visit

We really enjoyed our stay at the Docktails Cabana. I would highly recommend this place. It was so clean and we enjoyed it very much. The check in and check out was so simple. Neighbors were so nice and friendly. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Absolutely Amazing!!!! 100 stars!!

I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this beautiful place is!! The pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a beautiful, lake front place then this is it!!! I was impressed with the view, the cleanliness of the entire place, the amenities were great… this place had everything.. they even had the pantries full of basic things, sugar, coffee, snacks, any intention you would need, they have it.. beds were comfy and so was all the furniture. The outdoor area is HUGE!! We absolutely loved being able to spend the evening under the deco or down on the water.. we were able to launch our kayaks off from the yard and had our own private pier.. it’s just gorgeous!! The effort that they have put into this place is noticeable in every aspect. Of all the rentals I’ve used thru the years, this is the best one ever!!! I give this place 100 stars and I will absolutely be using this property again in the future.. it’s EVERYTHING I’VE EVER WANTED IN A LAKE FRONT VACATION HOME!!! Book it!!! You won’t be disappointed!!! It’s worth every penny!! I wish I could attach pics to show what an amazing place this was. A Must Rent!

My family very much enjoyed their stay at Docktails Cabana. The space was clean, the views of the lake were unmatched, and the entire process was so easy and convenient for us. Highly recommend this listing and will be sharing with others who are looking for a bit of peace alongside beautiful Lake Waccamaw.

Amazing House with Beautiful Sunrise Setting

Stayed here five nights and WOW could not ask for a better place. Check in was easy and the lake setting amazing. Make sure to get up early to watch the sunrise. It is amazing. Also, you can be on gator patrol for the river area. It was so much fun. We used the home for our base and it was great to have breakfast and dinner each day here. We hit up Costco/grocery before checking in. There is a grocery store close by also if needed and prices were not crazy expensive. The house has everything needed to make meals. It would have been great to have a grill to cook but we made due without one. The coffee maker is a drip and we did buy filters but the owner did have some in the house also. We left what we bought for house donation. The second bathroom is tiny but it is usable. It is nice that the small bedroom and bath are in their own area. This allowed both couples to have their own private areas when getting ready each day. Plenty of towels also. The internet worked great. Had some trouble at first but doing a reboot of the router and everything was a go. Also, I have learned when I travel it is easy to bring my own Firestick/Roku and hookup to TV and then the owners internet. Doing this allows me not to have to put in all my account login/passwords .. yep bring your own and you are already logged in. The washer and dryer came in handy also. So don't worry about having to pack a lot at all.

Cutest Little Getaway

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and just needed a place close to stay! This was an easy 20 minute drive to the venue that became our little oasis. The beautiful scenery in the morning, topped it all off!
