Steps to Banff National Park l Mountain Getaway
Our 2 bed, 2 bath is the perfect mix of comfort & style and has everything you will need for a getaway in the Rocky Mountains with family or friends. With comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, new appliances and 3 TV`s, you will have everything you will need to relax by the fireplace after a day of exploring, skiing, or snowboarding. We are located in Harvie Heights, right beside the Banff National Park gate and 5 minutes to Canmore.
Just finished renovating this amazing 2 level townhouse style condo at Banff Woods Lodge.
Welcome to your home away from home!
After conveniently pulling right up to your front door to unload your luggage, maybe skis and belongings, take a moment to admire the mountains. When you first enter the condo, kick your shoes off and hang your coat up. We have a hangers in the front closet and a place to hang your keys just to your left. As you enter, you will see our gas fireplace, sofa and TV. This sofa pulls out into a comfortable queen sized bed to host a couple or children. Across from the bed you will find our main floor bathroom with a shower. We supply all natural soaps from Rocky Mountain Soap Company for you to use in both bathrooms and in the kitchen. Our kitchen table is large enough to fit all 8 guests - with extra fold up chairs located in the front closet. You will find all the supplies you need to cook, prep and season your meal in the kitchen area including the shelving in the wall and island (that can move to wherever you need). The island has a shelf you’re welcome to use to put some of your groceries away. Out the back door you will find a common area with a BBQ shared amongst guests at the complex. We supply all BBQ tools you will need.
Up the stairs are both bedrooms - the master bedroom has a queen sized bed and patio with seating that overlooks the beautiful mountain scenery. We also have a desk in this room to serve as your dedicated work space if you need to work away from home. If you turn left at the stairs, you will find the bunk bed room. This room has a queen bed with a single (twin) XL over the top as well as another single (twin) XL mountain loft bed up the ladder (72” up -not for small children). This is the perfect space to host your kids. Between the two bedrooms is a bathroom with a shower/bath and ample storage for your toiletries. We supply a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner. You will also find the in-suite laundry facilities across the hallway from the bathroom - we supply laundry soap for you to wash your clothing on site.
We have a warm fireplace to keep you cozy in the winter and air conditioning in both bedrooms to save you from a hot summer night. Being this close to Banff National Park and quick access to Trans Canada Hwy 1 opens up endless possibilities for exploring and/or heading to the ski hills. Sunshine Ski Village is only a 25 min drive and you are only 5 minutes to Canmore and 15 min to downtown Banff. This location is best for guests who have access to a vehicle for transport - if you do not have a car, taking a cab to Canmore to catch the bus would be your best bet. For more information on bus services in the Canmore/Banff area - please check out Roam online.

Condo complex is located in a quiet area. Wildlife can be prevalent in this area including elk, deer and grizzly bears depending on the seasons. Having bear spray is a must during hikes, bikes or outdoor adventures.
Complimentary outdoor parking in the parking lot. Best to have your own vehicle for transportation although Canmore/Banff does offer Bus services.
We charge 9% tax as per Alberta regulations (5% GST and 4% Tourism Levy)
All other items in the unit are owned by the listing owners and will be considered as theft if taken.

Return items back to where you found them and report back to us if anything is misplaced or broken.
Please ensure doors are locked when leaving the suite.
Extra Charges and Fees:
Please note that additional housekeeping charges may apply for excessive messiness or damage to our unit or furniture. These fees include:
- National park pass missing: $150+ for replacement. (until July 2025)
- Late checkout fee: $25 (applies after 11 am without prior approval by the host)
- Extra garbage fee: $25 (for garbage/recycling left in the unit)
- Extra cleaning fee: $25 (for excessive cleaning needs, such as food left in the kitchen/on tables, or dishes not done)
- Towel replacement fee: $10 (for damaged towels, replacement price per towel)
- Linen replacement fee: Varied (depending on the damaged item)
