Welcome to the Madison Escape, a beautifully remodeled 4-bedroom, 2-full-bath home, ideally situated less than 3 miles from the Sonoma Plaza. Surrounded by wineries in every direction, the home is perfectly positioned in the heart of Sonoma Valley Wine Country.

Accommodating up to 8 adults and 2 children, with 4 beds plus 2 baby pack n' plays, this home offers both comfort and convenience. Relax and unwind in style with amenities such as a fire pit and BBQ on the patio, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings.

Cute home turned ugly when A/C wasn't working

If you are looking for a home with “American or HVAC” air conditioning, do not stay here. If you are looking for a home with “European or HV” air conditioning, then this is the home for you. It is a cute and clean home, but the A/C never kicked in for the duration of our four-day stay and trying to get it fixed with the owners was a real struggle. Sonoma had temps in the high 90’s and low 100’s while we were there so the A/C should have been working properly. The owners sent their friend out to check the system and all he did was remove the air filter and told us problem solved. However, the problem was not solved as home temps remained in the 80’s. In my opinion, the compressor needed freon gas and if not, then it needed to be replaced. After emailing the owners of our situation and letting them know they could verify our complaints on their Nest thermostat, we were still ignored. It was a very uncomfortable situation for our two small babies and our elderly grandparents. We should have known something was up because when we checked in there were numerous floor fans throughout the house. And finally, no apologies were offered over the course of our stay.

Peaceful stay

We had a great stay at the Sonoma Wine Country Madison Escape. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We enjoyed a cup of coffee in the backyard every morning and it was a quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was a little run down, but we felt safe. Thank you for a great stay!

The Perfect Home for a Family Gathering

This lovely and very clean home easily accommodated our family of seven. The layout of the kitchen/dining area and family room was conducive to communal cooking and socializing. The large backyard was lovely and inviting. All in all, this home was perfect for our family reunion.

Great location, Lots of rules

The home was clean and accurately described. We were able to take walks and runs through the neighborhood. They must have had some issue with parties or complaints from neighbors about noise because the rules were very strict about noise levels. The ice maker doesn’t work in the fridge. The fire pit in the back yard doesn’t work. We messaged the owner and he didn’t respond. There is not a washer and dryer which most vrbo’s have them.

Nice enough place. Basically forbidden from venturing outside at night.

Apparently the owner has had issue with loud parties in the past and heavily warned us every single communication that amplified music is forbidden at anytime out side and after 9:00 PM inside. Since we are. Well into retirement this seemed overkill but we obeyed. Sadly not a single knife in the kitchen could even slice an onion. Very shocking is the complete lack of exhaust vents in either bathroom. Depending on whether it was sued for a shower or something else it was either too humid or stinky to come inside. Save money elsewhere on your investment but please offer working bathrooms and enough tools in the kitchen to make simple meals.

Beautiful property - But Disappointed

The property was beautiful and the layout was great. But we struggled with the AC working the entire time we were there. In 4 days they had 2 different handyman out to work on the units even putting in portable ACs at one point. They were trying to help but the end result was still that the house was very hot especially the bedrooms. The listing stated there were pull out sofa beds. There were not - they had plywood in the couches instead of beds. The listing also shows a propane firepit but upon receiving our check-in info we were told we could not use it. Although, the trip was still amazing I would not book this house in the future.

Girls Trip

We had a lovely and comfortable stay! It was just an 8 min drive to downtown Sonoma, the perfect place to relax and wind down. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were very comfortable and inviting.

This property was great for a Sonoma/Napa family vacation. The location was perfect for exploring both valleys and the backyard was nice to come back to after a day of wine tasting.

Cousin Trip!

We had a cousin reunion trip to the wine country. I want to clean up the house was perfect for gathering and enjoying the wine. We got that day. Beautiful backyard with lots of privacy. Lots of room in the house and everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Nice home with a pleasant grassy backyard on a quiet street.

Our 2 labs and 4 adults found the home accommodating with the grassy backyard and Ernie Smith dog park a short 10 minute walk on quiet back streets. The beds are comfortable with soft comforters and plenty of blankets. We did not use the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace is not to be used per the safety rules. The nest heater kept us plenty warm when we were home not exploring winery’s. The master bathroom is a bit snug and the kitchen has most everything. Only a little dissatisfied with no ice or filtered water dispenser from the refrigerator / freezer. And no ice cube trays to make our own ice. Tyler was responsive when questions came up via text.

A Perfect Home

This is a lovely home that is spacious, clean and conveniently located near vineyards and downtown Sonoma. It easily accommodated our family of 7 and has a beautiful backyard with a fire pit that we all enjoyed.

Great Location, Nice House

Convenient location to wineries and Sonoma Square. Cute, older neighborhood. Nice yard, decent-sized bedrooms, and cute kitchen and dining area. We would stay here again.

Sonoma Get Away

Nice fit for our group of 8. Short drive to town...nice central location for wine tasting and coastal, redwood hikes. Unfortunately weather didn't allow much fire pit use but the yard was pretty.

What a great gem in Sonoma! Close to some shopping. Good distance for local eateries….we recommend Picazo, it was fantastic!! Everything that was listed in the details was provided accurately. Great space for 8 adults; we never felt cramped. Such a great house!! Thank you Tyler.

Gorgeous Wine Retreat

Tyler's house is just as advertised, and it was beautiful and comfy! Beds are comfortable, the outdoor seating area is perfect for sharing a bottle of wine and hanging out. The kitchen is well stocked and it was just an overall great place. The only thing to be aware of is if you need an Uber or Lyft early in the morning, we had trouble getting one at 7 a.m. and ended up getting a cab, so just be aware of that!
