Información de la propiedad

El Yunque Waterfalls, forest & river tiny house

Summary:
By choosing Casa Parcha for your stay you will selecting to experience El Yunque Rainforest South side, one of the most wonderful rainforests and biggest ecosystems in the world. Tropical trees, waterfalls, refreshing ponds and petroglyphs are everywhere and only at a few steps of your bed. Spend the night under a million stars roof listening to the symphony of our coquí and the river flow.

Hope to see you soon!

The Space:
Casa Parcha land and the backyard river were a very sacred land for our ancestors, the taínos Indians. It was the place chosen to gave birth. They came to the pond behind our land to receive the blessings of Yukiyú, their good God, as well as the god of peace and tranquility. The taínos presence is very evident in the multiple petroglyphs in the rocks and the good energy you absorb while here.

As an adventurer backpacker and a purpose of life seeker I have gathered everything I ever wished for when getting to know the world and that’s what I provide as a host. I still have a long way to walk and a second visit to Casa Parcha will not be the same as we are always looking for ways to improve the experience for each of our visitors and are constantly working to make improvements.

Your kitchen has all basics so you can prepare quick meal and access to a small Puertorrican spice garden so you can get the island flavors.

While staying at Casa Parcha you will have access to an outdoor shower surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. It’s not an outdoor bath, but a marvelous tropical experience. We have think in all and you have access to a common freezer, BBQS, beach coolers, multiple sitting areas, hammocks, pool table, books, table games, and other amenities.

There is parking in the premises and you get to us through a pave road. Don’t need all wheel drive, but YOU DO NEED A VEHICLE as we are country side and is very difficult for you to find transportation in this area. We also have three camping tents in our two acres piece of rainforest.

Casa Parcha has different common and sitting areas in our piece of the rainforest for you to enjoy nature as it’s best and yes, the waterfall is really the backyard of the property. Swim, enjoy the views, watch the rain, smell the flowers, explore, take a nap, breath, but specially take the time to reconcile with yourself and connect to every piece Mother Nature has to provide you and remember you are alive and are here.

Vibe good!
